I bought this book because now that I'm retired, the goal is to visit as many of these parks as possible; however, some of the information to obtain does not interest me to acquire, so I'll just put additional pictures over that section. The concept is a great idea, but capturing all of this information just to fill up the page would mean that I wasn't taking the time to really enjoy the surrounding beauty of my visit.

Bought this for a friend's epic cross-country trip with his son, and I ordered it well in advance. The book didn't arrive until 3 days after my friend and his son left, so now he won't have it with him for his trip, and likely won't remember enough specifics about each park to write in it when he returns. It's a bummer. Would have been a great keepsake.

Very nice, layed out well. The pages while they list the battlefields, don't give details on each. I would have liked a few "don't miss" for each battlefield, or key history given the price, I didn't not expect that each page would be the same for every battle field.

I’m excited to use this. I wish there were more than just two places per state, though. Maybe you can make haunted places journals by state the same way you made national parks for every state. Or do haunted places and odd attractions, by state. Anyway, for this journal, I’m planning to make a haunted road trip where we travel around, by RV, to different haunted places.
