I think it's a decent rail, but if I was going to purchase another rail I would get something more like a PVC rail. If you have a metal chop saw I think this would be a decent rail, but when you have to cut everything down with a hacksaw it makes for a more challenging installation. I think this rail also chips the finish off very easily. I don't see this surviving WI winters and snow shovels very well. Time will tell.

This was the second set of railings I previously bought.
The first ones looked cheep and had a lot of open spaces in them that someone could have cut their fingers on, back in the box for a refund.
Then I found these CR Handrails that looked pretty good. Was impressed with the packing and installation kit inclosed. Easy to follow instructions helped make it faster to install. I installed 2 sets the same day, and am purchasing another set for another set of steps !!
