I freaking LOVE this board. It’s a midlength that feels super stable and substantial but is light as a feather and rides like a shortboard. Typically I either log or surf a 5’10 potato chip. This is a perfect step up board OR a go-to when the waves are smaller or mushier but you want to ride a short board and have a lot of fun. (I’m riding the 7’0). I purchased one to test the system, then three more, and now one more for five Hang Up System - FCS2. These strong hangers snap easily into and out of the fin box. Even if I didn't have limited surfboard storage, I would still use these hangers to store my boards. It's so efficient in space and keeps the boards off the ground. I wish I would have discovered this years ago. I'm so happy.

this is my first real surfboard and i have to say i love it! as a younger surfer who has experience with skating and other similar sports to surfing this board was great, i surfed it in 5ft to 1ft and it was awesome. the packaging was great too, you here too many stories about boards coming in the mail damaged but my board came without even a scratch. if you are looking for a beginner board that you can progress on and can ride in almost any conditions this is the board for you. I currently have 5 Salt Gypsy Mid Tides. Obviously they are my favorite boards. My 7'4" PU board in Peach Fuzz is a perfect board. As it's between my 7'8" and my 7'0" it's the board I reach for the most. Glides like a dream and is small enough to make it out the back at my sometimes crazy beach break. The color is awesome too!

Love this board! This is a lightweight board that performs well in flat water. It is responsive, turns easily, and handles boat wakes well so I would imagine it’s also good in surf. I’m experienced but it’s been a number of years since I last had my own board and I was happy to find my Salt Gypsy has great balance and speed. And it’s a gorgeous color and design too!! Love!

I ride a 10’ board in NE Florida in the summer but wanted something for the winter waves that can reach over 3’. I’m 72 years old, good physical fitness, weigh 200#, have two knee replacements, and severe arthritis in my right wrist. I decided to go with the 9.0’ Wavemaster 5000. I got to ride it yesterday in clean 2’ waves and I am very pleased with this board. Easy to paddle because it’s lightweight and floats very well because it’s volume is balanced.

Age 45/5'10"/215lb/intermediate surfer/NJ. I received the board via FedEx 4 business days after ordering. It was well packaged and arrived in mint condition. I've ridden the board in conditions ranging from waist high to a couple feet overhead (thanks hurricane Henri) and absolutely love it. The board paddles like a foamy, glides like a log, and turns like a shortboard... it's exactly what I was looking for!!!

It makes a crappy wave fun! Love it with the fin a bit forward to loosen it up and give it a bit more maneuverability. It takes off on so much and deep! Does better on the steeper drops and likes a bit of speed, but also can make mushy and closed out fun!

I’m 6’3 220lbs with the 6’8. The extra width makes it easy to catch waves, especially for a heavier beginner that wants to learn how to shortboard. Obviously not doing crazy sharp turns on it but its a great confidence builder in getting to your feet on something shorter. Duckdiveable. Perfect for small days, even took it out on a bigger day and had success. Nice step before going straight to a performance shortboard.

10/10. Normally surf the 7ft love child with a single fin or the quad fin. I wanted something a little more skatey. It’s exactly like the description promotes. The board is super easy to catch waves on. Im 200 lbs and 6’4 and my 6’4” looks like a short board when I ride it. I mostly winter surf in water as cold as 3 C and have beaten the board up fairly badly. I build boards so I added a 6 oz layer of glass on the deck and bottom (with epoxy resin)The board is bulletproof now! The black line is carbon Fiber.

Loving this board. As a relatively new surfer my only experience was on an longboard (8’6”) which I’d been riding for about a year. It took me a few sessions to get the feel of this board both for paddling and popping up since it’s my first time sizing down. Glad I went for the 7’4 as it’s great for stability while super fun to start maneuvering more. I feel like there’s so much room to grow with it. And it’s stylin!

This board checks all the boxes. Whether you're in 2' shorebreak or head-high sets, this board is ridiculously fun. It turns very quickly, is fast down the line and paddles like a mid-length. I was on the fence between the Firewire Sweet Potato and this board, but after surfing it a few times, I'm glad I chose the Highline. My favorite board for big surf had its last day. Soon to be wall art, hurricane Lee rules the day. I will be picking up another 8’ 7S super fish 4. Don’t let the photo fool you. It was an absolutely outstanding board. All good things tend to come to an end. For now I’ll ride the exact board in a 7” configuration. Finally decided on a Mid Tide and i'm in love. I went for the 7'4" and find it really fast to paddle. It's light and fits easily under my arm so a breeze to carry down to the beach. I find turns where I want it to go much quicker than the huge longboard I was borrowing before.
