This is great for people who have had open heart surgery. The pillow makes it easier for them to get up as they are not laying completely flat. If you're buying this for someone for post-op care I would highly recommend it. Make sure to buy the memory foam one in that case.

Totally recommended! I was looking for a nursing pillow that is not super soft to support the baby to the desired height without being squished downwards. This one is perfect! I don’t need to use my hands to elevate my baby to the feeding level.
