The speakers are very sturdy and look great not cheap. They sound pretty nice my only concern is I wish they were louder. They work fine for the room you are in. The speakers are master class. Sound comes from the devices as through I'm sitting on front of live musicians and these are refurbished speakers. How wonderful! I wanted Bluetooth capability so that I can listen to Spotify when I'm not spinning records. Just a push of the power button and the transfer happens seamlessly. Awesome! So happy about my purchase. Only thing is the remote control was missing when the speakers arrived. Hopefully the company will send it to me soon.

Sound is equal to the 30 year old speakers I have which were around $1000 then. Streaming over WiFi is much clearer than Bluetooth. Remote works very well. Came in only 3 or 4 days.

I am using them as computer speakers for my home studio laptop, but the signal is coming out of my audio interface at 96-24 quality. They sound phenomenal. I have had the R1700BT bookshelf speakers for a few years now. Great speakers but it always felt like I was missing out on some great lower frequencies with my music. Decided to take a look at the T5 Sub as it looked perfect for entry-level to moderately-experienced audiophiles and general music/media users. Well the T5 gave me that extra UMPH and more. The Edifier R1700BTs are a shockingly good value for tiny and affordable bookshelf speakers. Their rich, full sound is due in part to a Subwoofer somehow squeezed into their small, resonant cabinet (hence the ‘S’ designation). The sound is carefully tuned and amplified. They can get impressively loud. I purchased them for a compact, quality 2.1 bedroom setup and they perform better than speakers 3-4x their modest price.

I am using the speakers with my Alienware Area51 computer using Bluetooth. I haven’t been able to use the line in feature. I press the button and turn it but then no sound.

I was happy to find the speakers through your website cheaper than amazon. They showed up in a reasonable amount of time. They look great and sound great. I thought they had a sub out but I apparently didn't see that this model doesn't have the sub out. I'm using them for computer speakers and they sound plenty good enough for that. Very good build quality and amazing sound for their size. I would recommend them.

This is a really nice piece of electronics. Sound is great and I like the look. You will not be disappointed with this speaker. I only have one suggestion to Edifier. When playing music from Micro-SD card it needs to have a shuffle mode. Currently it just plays all songs in order.

This my 3rd set of Edifier speakers. My first set were the Edifier R1850DB's which I purchased based on a review from the "Sound Advice" column in my paper, and I have them in a small studio space. The next pair were the Edifier R1280DB's which were a gift for my son. (And he was a music education, major so has a good ear!) The Edifier R2000DB's are the best by far, but all have been welcome additions - great speakers that are reasonably priced.

These do perform better on the entire range. The planar tweets are superior to dome tweets. The 6.5" definitely packs better mid base and sub at 38 htz.

For my office at work....sounds great, good bass response...almost too much for the small space it's in....pretty happy with it for the money...tariffs suck....I was first looking at it a few months ago for 399 when I went to purchase it had jumped to 549. The remote was ordered because the one that came with the speakers started working in a hit or miss fashion. This was with new energizer batteries. It is great that you have a new one available to purchase. I went to edifier.con and could not understand how to navigate to a page offering the remote for sale. Good and bad. Sadly, you need the remote to operate the S350DB. That is the bad news. I thought it was the battery, but nope, it was the remote. The good news is that Edifier had it in stock at an affordable price and quickly sent it out of their Dallas Texas center (per the tracking ID). Far cheaper and way quicker than amazon. At first I set up the speakers with an Echo Dot and a 3.5mm to RCA cable. It was OK but when I changed from the Dot to the WiiM Mini it was a huge improvement in sound. This is a very good combination.

Bought this for the HDMI port so I could eliminate my TV sound bar and switch between that and Bluetooth music. Added the T5 subwoofer for exceptional sound. Using that combination along with the ability to set equalizer settings far exceeds my expectations. My only wish is that the remote was backlit (or had the option to purchase one as an upgrade).
