Overall design of the remote is 1 out of 5. Have to look at the buttons every time it's used because it's perfectly round.

I love the speakers however the remote control seems a bit iffy. For example, it takes several attempts to turn the power on and off, similarly switching modes between Bluetooth and optical. Is this a function of the distance from the powered speaker and the remote? I sit about 8 feet away.
Is there a more robust version of the remote or perhaps the battery needs to be be replaced. Any advice would be appreciated.

when using the headphones wired via USB, the maximum audio volume is much lower than using them wirelessly, though otherwise, quality and latency are great.
when charging the headphones, you cant use them unless the charging cable is connected to the desired device, and as mentioned above, that has its own problems.

The speakers work and sound great. I did buy refurbished S1000W speakers. There were a few minor blemishes on the finish which I expected, however, there was a semi dried oily liquid on the speakers and remote. I had expected them to be professionally cleaned.

Really good speakers but lacks the bass punch for some frequencies. I only used Bluetooth when testing this.
Really good looking speakers too. I tested it with EDM, heavy metal and all kinds of music. Really impressive except the bass problem; it's really weird because it is capable of good bass. Some frequencies produce a good punch and then when I'm expecting it sometimes it's just not as strong.

Not at all bad for the price!
Considering the subwoofer is only 5”, it actually produces a pretty good bass response down to almost 50 Hz with the ported design, extension maybe even lower. This sub actually caused some things nearby to rattle when I had the bass turned all the way up. That said, it’s not going to compete with larger (more expensive) home theater subs, but will give some thump to your music.
The satellite speakers are what you would expect for this price point and are good...

Fantastic sound for the money, the only reason it’s not 5 stars is both a poor remote (fine volume control means an ton of taps, and not all of them seem to make it) and the Bluetooth chip seems to cause a faint static at higher volume levels. It’s not enough to interfere with most music, and not present when using other inputs (e.g. optical), but it is there.

The sounds quality is terrific - which is highest priority for me.
Also, bluetooth connection to PC is flawless and easy to establish.
What I wish were different is that the 2 speakers connected wirelessly rather than via a cable. As soon as that option is available, I will purchase it.

Great audio quality. Microphone tends to pick up extraneous noise, I'm told as I use with my cellphone. Earphone buds themselves work really well, but the firm tubing to secure above the ears makes earbuds hard to put on quickly when answering the phone.
