Our Rouge is a high quality device and we have just recently started using it. There is only one thing that could be improved upon: We find that the solid black plastic eye shield that is included has a strong chemical smell to them. I am hoping that in time, the VOCs will end. This is our second red light; initially we purchased the Nano (smallest size). We liked it so much that we recently bought the next size up, the G3. We absolutely love it. It reduces my husband’s osteoarthritis pain in his hands. I have used it for cold sores and for inflammation in my feet. We highly recommend red light therapy.

I would like to know more about the time of exposure, the distances. For exemple I like to lay in bed and put the light on. I am standing at 8 feet from the lamp. It help me sleep. If I wake up during the night, I just put the light on for about 8 minutes and I fall asleep. If the distance is far enough do I have to wait 3 hours between session.

The G4 is a HUGE panel. And it needs a seriously sturdy stand. This stand is not easy to assemble. I needed a block of wood and a mallet to get most of the pieces assembled tight enough for the bolt holes to line up (not necessarily a bad problem to have). I love the Nano, best priced hand held size on the market and the only one as far as I can tell with the option for all red or all and NIR light.
