This is exactly what I was looking for. The pouch is light and thin. I've had rip-away pouches in the past but they were always bulky because of all the layers of nylon. The use of laser cut nylon and mounting straps makes this very low profile. The cummerbund that I have is structured with tegris and sandwiched between laser cut nylon layers. Really glad I went with the Beez system. My previous belt (grey ghost model) was slightly too large, didn't really have a good range of adjustment, the webbing and stitching was poorly done, and the inner belt was pretty cheap, so it was time to upgrade. Too large for me even in small size. I have this issue with gear a lot only being 5 foot 7, 120 pounds. Had a friend sew the back velcro to the non elastic part of cummerbund and it's perfect. Mostly. The way the material on the skeletonized molle is looped over at the top and bottom makes some attachments near impossible to use. Needed to have a discreet way of carrying 3A soft armor. Took a bunch of weeks till delivery, but the wait was worth it. 10x12 soft SAPI Panels + trauma pads fit snugly, no movement or play. My department issued SWAT PC is a LBT SRT carrier and I was not a fan of the cummerbund. The carrier is great and the quick detach works perfectly. That being said trying to click the cummerbund in wile not overly complicated is still more work than necessary. This is my second version of this radio pouch as also have the one for the UV-5R with the extended battery. It's an excellent pouch and makes manipulating the radio in the field much easier since you can just undo the top strap and then fold out the pouch to get access to the keypad. This Ak kangaroo pouch allows for 3 magazines to fit perfectly! I’m from California and forced to use two 10 round magazines attached at the base plate making the magazines double sided (the reason the freedom seed are visible) making them slightly thicker in the middle and slightly taller than your standard 30 round magazines and they still fit!! Bought two of these because they looked good in pictures. They were shipped very quickly. Haven’t gotten them dirty yet but they really impress me. They hold 17 round magazines very securely, storing and removing magazines is very easy. They are very light weight but they feel very tough.
