After having an eye removed my cat was absolutely terrified of the cone she had to wear. We ordered the optivizor hoping to make her more comfortable. The freedom it provides her ears and whiskers made a world of difference! She went from terrified and shut down to moving around freely, eating, and using her box with no issue. I love the ability to customize for the best possible fit.

My dog had a mass removed from her eyelid and this mask allowed her to move about really well, during recovery. The "infamous" cone was really difficult for her to wear and didn't allow her the freedom to move about, so I research online and found this. We used the sizing method recommended and it fit perfectly.

If your pet needs a cone THIS is a fantastic option! Not once did my legs get chopped up by the cone and our dog was able to eat/drink/use the doggie door all while wearing her cone. 5 stars (out of 5)

Her cyst was on her tail, so a place she could access with almost any arrangement of cones. She even managed with this extended version and we had to devise yet something else. None the less, I love these, especially that the ears are free; not collecting moisture or amplified sound. The ease to put it on and off; and that the weight primarily rests on the head piece, rather than the animal's neck.

I had thought my mares eye accidents were never at night well I was wrong. After again getting dirt in her eye and having another eye infection I purchased her the clear visor, and my mare is no longer having eye issues!! She loves her visor and sticks her head in to get it put on every evening. She wears the tinted one in the sunlight and clear in the evenings!! Best purchase ever and definitely much cheaper than a vet visit!

Best purchase ever!! My horse loves her tinted visor for when she is out grazing, and the sun is shining. She is sorta accident prone to eye issues, she just seems to get dirt in her eyes or scratches her eyes and was constantly having to put medicine in her eyes which she hates. NOW she sticks her head right in the visor every morning.

As you can See i own a Appaloosa. And I like in South Florida. Last year i Purchased 3 masks with Ears and they Stayed on Great. Skye my horse has the white App eyes So a mask is a must in the Summer. Well at least 6 months a Year.. This time i Thought i would try the No Ear mask.. And i Really think he likes it Better.. Yippy

Purchased this for my border collie who was having eye surgery. He got used to wearing is pretty quickly (lots of treats involved!). I trimmed the length a bit and used the foam to create a tighter fit. The foam helps to keep it from sliding around, but does seem to flake a bit from rubbing his head. Not good when you’re trying to protect his eye, but manageable.

We have 2 elderly Boston Terriers. Bellatini is blind from cataracts. Without the optivisor she constantly runs into things. Our other dog, Pepi had a graft to cover up a deep corneal ulcer in her one remaining eye. She was hurting Bellatini with her e color. Running around like a bull. She is safer for all of us with her optivisor.

I bought these because my horse has a low tolerance for bugs getting into/ around her eyes while riding. She becomes a head tosser and will become pretty distressed. I have seen these for awhile and finally decided to give them a try. My first time putting them on her, she acted like she's worn them every day of her life. My gelding just loves his full size solar visor. After his eyelid surgery to remove squamous cell carcinoma, he wore the recovery visor for 9 days and then we started him wearing the solar visor. He loves it and as much as he doesn’t like his right eye touched, he literally stands perfectly still, drops his head and let’s me put it on. I now have the Recovery Vizor for my mare, the Equi Vizor for my gelding, AND the Solar Vizor that gets shared by both of them depending on who has what going on with their eyes on any given day. Love all three products and will continue to use and replace as needed. Our little guy recently went blind and we would have to keep a close eye on him when he was wandering in the yard. Now we can let him wander on his own without worrying about what he may run into. He’s getting use to it but he still tries to get it off every now and then. Because of the fit he has not been successful at removing it which gives us more confidence to let him roam on his own.

My 17 year old little man was having trouble with wind in his face so my vet recommended protective Pet Solutions. The staff was incredible in terms of working with me to find the right fit for my guy. They had me send them pictures and recommended I try two sizes. After my mare’s eye surgery, my vet told me she would need a UV blocking mask 24/7. I was worried because my mare has been a mask Houdini in the past - nothing stays on! Well, I was thrilled that this mask stays on! The design keeps it snugly in place and keeps it out of her eyes due to the visor. It is super durable too, stays up to weather and wear.
