This is the third one I've bought for Rollo. He destroys standard masks. They last forever on him and he can't pull them off no matter how hard he tries. He had an eye injury after last August's hurricane and had to wear it round the clock for 6 months while we treated his eye. After treatment period he only wears it during the day for gnats. We just had to replace the one we bought for the injury, last week, and that's only because the velcro stopped sticking to itself.

Since my horse has moon blindness I must ride him in a fly mask to protect his eyes from sun. I think his sight is impaired with most fly masks so your goggles seemed to be a good answer to my concerns. We rode yesterday on dirt roads and mountain trails for more than two hours and he wore the goggles without issue. He didn't hesitate crossing creeks or going over down trees and it seemed he was looking at his surroundings more. Love the product.

I'm very pleased with the Solar Vizor! I've added a 2nd one to have flexibility when one gets dirty. I have a 20+ year old registered Quarter Horse gelding with chronic eye disease in both eyes. This mask gives his eyes protection from the light and flies, while holding it's shape so that the mesh is not near his eyes. It's a very high quality product that holds up very well to the weather extremes in South Dakota.

Once I sat down and worked to get sizing correct as my dog is a brachycephalic (smooshed face) breed it is very difficult to find a product that is not the “cone of shame”. Our eye surgeon was very impressed with how well the visor fit and worked for our girl to protect her eyes after cataract surgery.

My 26 year old OTTB has been suffering from Uveitis. Normal fly masks are a no go, but so far so good with this one. The mask has successfully stayed on him for a few days now. My Paso needed extra eye protection. He has a short face so at first the seam where the nose screen was attached rubbed his face. I glued some fleece on it and cut the very end of the nose piece so it would move when he was grazing. Now I just love how it is protecting his bad eye. thank you!!

I like the Equivizor Fly Mask . It seems to fit my horse. I made some padded tubes to use on the two straps that buckle it on . And so, rather than cutting the excess strap off , I just feed the extra length through the tube . However, the holes in the EVA lining allow the outer mesh to “ cave in a little.I would like to try riding with it but havent done so yet.

I have been using these masks for a while now. I have a medicine hat paint with pink skin around her eyes, and we live in Florida. I love these masks. Best one I've used to protect the eyes from the sun. One of my horses (blue eyed) has had a tumor removed at the inside corner of his eye. I've used other masks with UV eye protection, but none have held up like these masks. Also, my 3 horses have white noses and the nose guard goes low enough to protect from sunburned noses. Highly recommend these masks.

This is the first mask I've tried that gives sufficient eye clearance. My Thoroughbred has a broad jaw and is between a full and a warmblood size in other masks. This one fits well, although the ears are quite long and my horse does not have short ears. But, the excess space in the ears does mean more air flow.
