While the Optivizor doesn’t replace a traditional cone for my dog, it is her preferred method of eye protection when outdoors. She had cataract surgery last year, has reoccurring corneal ulcers, and she’s essentially blind, so protecting her eyes is crucial. The Optivizor allows her to freely sniff, hear, and move around outdoors without worrying about re-injuring her eyes. It’s an incredibly well made product, and customer support is amazing — quick to respond and very friendly.

Two playful 8 year old Arabians that previously could not keep their fly masks on more than a few hours….I was about to give up…..until I tried Equivisor!!!! These masks amazing…..the smaller Arab wears a cob size and the larger Arab wears a horse size…..normally the smaller Arab wears between pony and cob and larger wears between a cob and horse….so they run a hair small….I love that they have a forelock slit instead of a hole so there’s less hair breakage. I think the video speaks for itself...

Love the goggles! So does my mare. I have a horse with photic head shakers. The goggles and the solar visor have been a life saver for us both. The goggles are fantastic. So easy to use, and very high quality. My mare does not mind them at all, and the goggles do not obstruct her vision either. Plus, I think she looks really cool in them! Cannot thank your company enough. My veterinarian was also very impressed and said he would be recommending your products to other horses in need.

JB the mule loves his solar visor. He has ERU and wears this mask 24/7. It stays on, even out in the pasture and he always seems very comfortable with it.

The fitting was easy and it is definitely serving its purpose. Only problem is that the stabilizing velcro strip is already wearing out. He has figured out how to rub the the strap on his bed and release it. Clever boy. May need to replace the chin strap somehow. As far as it being better than a cone of shame, definitely. He can eat and drink and use the doggie door with no problem.

Little Rowan has been recovering from a head trauma injury which snowballed into an eye ulcer then infection due to lack of ability to blink. Our horse ripped off half his upper eyelid. I bought a different mask than your recovery mask and it had to be re-stitched 3 times! We bought your recovery visor after the third time and it healed without a problem. It stayed on well and never moved to re-injure the eye. If you have an eye injury, buy this Recovery Visor immediately! Thanks for a great product.

The NovaGuard Recovery Collar has been VERY helpful! It's been a struggle finding a cone that fits my dog and her long snout. With typical cones, she was able to still reach her feet and lick wounds. The NovaGuard has been perfect in preventing that!

My horse, Patches, wears this happily with no fuss. They seem to fit comfortably all day and work well. Our goal is to minimize the development of a small cataract in one eye. This product was recommended by my veterinarian, Dr. Chris Camp, at Del Oestre Vet in Eugene, OR. I have two versions, one with the nose cover which is great in summer. This is the first fly mask/sun shade that he happily wears with the nose cover. Highly recommend this product.

These are the BEST eye protection masks on the market! I use these in Summer to protect his nose from the sun. I have been able to completely stop sunscreen on his nose due to this EXCELLENT mask. The nose part allows lots of air flow due to not wrapping around his nose. Customer service with this company blew my mind. They are kind, quick, and fare.

Super impressed from start to finish! I placed the order on a Friday afternoon and received the visor by Monday. This worked out great since my Lab was having eye surgery on Thursday. He does not do well with the full E-collar/cones; he freezes, literally will not move, until it comes off. We did a few training sessions with the visor and zero problems for the past two weeks post surgery. Highly recommend!!

My 35 year old arab mare had chronic eye issues from bugs (and likely rubbing due to the bugs). She has to wear a mask 24/7. I recently received my OptiVizor for my greyhound who may need eye removal surgery in a few months. The directions I received for fitting the OptiVizor are great and very clear. As suggested, I started slowly getting my greyhound used to wearing it and he is doing great with it. It's such a better option than the huge, wide cones that typically are used after surgery. I think this is a great product!

This is a great alternative to a cone for a dog that has an injury to their face or eyes. It allows the ears to be free and it is easier to eat and drink with it on. Just note that if you need to apply eye drops or other medication to your pup's face or eyes, you will most likely need to remove the visor in order to do so.
