The short snout toy/new version was the perfect fit for our Pekingese/Poodle mix. She began having issues with both eyes during the latter part of 2023. The left eye succumbed to an ulcer that we managed to stabilize with medication, the right eye had a ruptured ulcer. The cone was a nightmare. My big dog knocked over things and ran into me. It was hard for her to eat and drink. We were both at our wits end. Things changed so much for the better when we got the optivizor. Thankfully, she healed well, had stitches out today and no longer needs the protection. The vet told us about this product. My horse would always pull his fly mask off. It got to the point where I didn't even bother putting one one. So far he's only got it off once and I believe this is because I did not have the top strap right enough, because I was afraid it would rub. Since tightening the strap he has kept it on and there have been no rubs at the buckle.

Our dod had recent eye surgery and needed protection. This works great! We followed the fitting instructions carefully, including fitting the included foam piece under the headpiece and trimming the front edge of the clear plastic shield. Our dog took to it right away and has never tried to get it off. I gave it 4 stars because it scratches fairly easily and durability may be an issue. Still a good value, though, even if we have to replace it. Good product!

I love this fly mask! I really like how adjustable it is, and especially the high UV protection for my pink-skinned leopard Appaloosa. I do wish the nose piece went down the sides of the nose more to protect those areas, and she did get a rub mark at the seam of the nose. But I sewed in a piece of fleece fabric and it’s perfect now ☺️ The eye darts are also really well placed and keeps the mask off of her eyes!

My gelding got it off the first time, so I bet wrapped the straps so they could not loosen, and also took out the bridge strap and it’s been great! I like that he has extra protection over his eye and it won’t collapse down. When he laid in his stall, I did notice that it shifted on his face since he couldn’t lay his head flat down due to the build of the mask- but other than that, I love it!

Equivizor saves my horse from eye infection and blindness! She wants to rub her right eye during the infection and this product helps protect her eye very well. She does not mind wearing it at all. One comnent is that I wish the plastic cover will be harder so she cannot try to rub her eye at all.

I really like that this mask has UV protection and it lets me see my horse's beautiful eyes. She's out in pasture 24/7 with free choice shelter and the mask has held up quite well. It has come off a few times but is easy to put back on. It's easy to clean. I wonder, though, if I didn't get too big of one. She was right on the line of a L or XL and I went with XL.

Out 14 year old Cockapoo had her eye removed 10 days ago. She had a lense subluxation into the corena of her rt eye and with the pressure rusing in the eye, removal was the best option. My dog has mega esophagus so eats/drinks from elevated devices. Had to hand feed with cone collar. The optivzer let her eat and drink normally as well as use her crate for sleeping. Only reason not a 5 stars that I had trouble figuring the right size and had to reorder.

My 21 yo qh was diagnosed about a month ago. A Facebook group recommended your mask. My only recommendation would be to use a softer fleece material to cover the bindings and under the straps. Whinny seems to try to get this mask off more than his fleece covered fly mask

This is my second purchase of the visor. After I saw how well it worked for my blind horse, I bought a second one so I can swap them out for cleaning so he does not go unprotected. I think he even appreciates the protection because he doesn't mind wearing it. I highly recommend it.

My dog needed eyelid surgery for the second time, and the last time with a hard cone was horrible. He never got used to navigating with it and we needed something else. This was wonderful. He wore it for about a week before transitioning into a soft e collar for the 2nd week. He was able to navigate easily, eat, and play. I would recommend this a hundred times over.
