I used a double layer of this for a loose-fitting tailored suit jacket. Not the easiest to sew as a result but worked well with good medium interfacing and resulted in a really comfortable alternative to the traditional suit.

Photo doesn't do the colour justice as it is a rich deep burgandy very on trend for this year - PF photo is much better colourwise. The fabric is lovely and soft. A thicker fabric more like a ponte roma than a stretchy jersey but not too thick and has a lovely drape. Ideal for a cowl neckline or full skirt styles - looking forward to sewing it

This knit fabric is very light in weight but feels so soft and cosy, I’m sure it will be very warm. It washed and ironed well and was easy to sew. The edges did curl a bit but I used clips and did the bulk of my sewing on an overlocker. The pattern makes a nice change from my usual floral and I love the colours. A new top for £7 with enough left over to make leggings for my granddaughter if she likes the fabric, what a bargain!

Loved using this fabric. I washed the fabric before use, it did not shrink but quite a lot of blue dye came out. I was very happy with this material

This doesn’t have a massive amount of stretch which made it perfect for this dress as the gather needed controlling. Nice to cut and sew and wish I’d bought more of the darker grey but might get some lighter grey on my next shop!

I have never use stretch bias before. Used it to bind neck and sleeves of this jersey dress ( Pound Fabric jersey). It is a game changer and will definitely use it again

There's not much to see really. My 'best friend' likes to sleep by the front door in the hall, despite him having a comfy bed in the living room, so I wanted to make the area a little more cosy for him. I made a single curtain with the interlining, and sandwiched it between the curtaining fabric (not PF) and a 'curtain' of blackout fabric (from PF). The area is now practically draft proof for Rusty, therefore my house must be a little warmer. The interlining is thick and warm and it's adde...

I had already made a similar dress from the navy Rose and Hubble cotton fabric from pound fabrics but wanted to modify my pattern and try it in black. I decided to choose this black cotton which was slightly cheaper. It reminds me of linen and sewed up beautifully. The pattern was an own design to my own measurements from the sewist.co website. I was very impressed by the finished garment. @Michoumakes

I used this gorgeous fabric to make a sweatshirt for my son in law (the Love Notions Rebel Raglan). It doesn’t have a lot of stretch and so it was a bit tricky on the neck and waistbands, and the cuffs…. But I persevered and got there in the end, and I just love the finished jumper! So much so, I’ve ordered some more so I can make one for myself :-) You can’t beat getting the recipient to choose their own fabric for their birthday present, can you?

Love this fabric. Print is very subtle but when you get up close the squares are perfect. It is such a lovely smooth cotton and will make an awesome blouse. Very good weave.

This is very stretchy so be careful if making anything with a gather as even when you sew the gather, the side you sew the gather to can stretch out and you lose the definition…that said this is amazingly soft and lovely to wear and I’m glad i bought enough to also make a dress

I’m so pleased with this fabric. I really wanted a leopard print chair and thought I’d try making a cover. It was a great opportunity when the fabric was on offer. It took 4 meters in the end and I bought 6. Now I need 2 more meters to do the second chair! It turned out well, it was easy to sew fabric and for a bargain was a nice project to try.

Fabulous purchase. As you can see we live in a very old cottage and getting curtains ready made would be a nightmare, the fabric arrived and I was delighted at the quality, sewed really well, easy to press and has stopped the cold completely off the stone wall behind the sofa! One very happy customer! 😊

Lovely fabric and so wide! Perfect for my first attempt at making a coat. This is the Paper Theory Nova coat and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Will be ordering some more of this fabric in another colour to go again - maybe the shorter one next time.

This was a first try of a new pattern that I am calling 'Belinda'. The fabric is a beautiful rich colour and very fluid making the cutting out rather difficult. However the final dress is very comfortable to wear and the skirt is extra swishy!

This fabric is beautiful quality and lovely to work with ! And all the better was the price I uses to sew many years ago. I am retired and have started sewing classes to refresh my skills I am very happy with this top the collar was a bit tricky. But I got there in the end . Happy Sewing Mary 😊😀

Love this fabric. It's really easy to cut and sew. Only Minor fraying. Lovely weight and feel to it. I made myself a Dinosaur dress :) (The Farah dress by cotton and chalk).

I love this fabric. I used it to make the covers for the dining chairs, and I'm very pleased with the results. It does fray, however, so overlocking the edges was necessary.

Very good quality denim. Slightly heavier than I expected it to be. I'm looking forward to using some of it to make Prima magazines November pattern for wide-leg trousers. Will post a pic when they're done.

Just about to start this winter's wardrobe and love this fabric. Photo is not good for colour PF far better but it is a dark bottle green and lovely and soft. Waht a brilliant fabric and first time using it. I'm plannin an anorak as fed up with everything being dark and gloomy. The colours are brighter than in my photo but super soft feel on the outside and so snuggly on the inside. Doesn't fray and no need to line so super easy. Also a great weight as light enough to feel soft with some drape but thick enough to give an autumn / winter feel. It might rain but wearing this I'll be warm and smiling

This material is of great quality. It washed and dried well with no ironing required. It does Not fray at all and has a slight stretch. It did not stretch as much as I thought so I gathered the material for cuffs and bottom banding, which worked out well. Would buy again, who could complain, a top for £3.

Lovely heavy weight fabric, though not too much stretch. Pattern was Sew and Sew 6437, but I lengthened the sleeves to be more appropriate for the autumn/winter seasons. Another great purchase from Pound Fabrics.

I’ve only recently got to use this fabric. I used a Black Snail PDF pattern that was a challenge for me as I’m not an advanced sewist. I wore this outfit to Asylum ( A Steampunk festival). The fabric was very easy to work with too. I’ve just bought some Calico to use for a project, which is great too!

This is the wide stripes seersucker in navy I bought in July- only just got up the courage to make an oversize shirt… finished at last and really pleased with the result- a bit tricky to use ( as a beginner) and frays quite a lot, but so reasonable and a ouch to make my daughter a top, so watch this space! Just ordered some thicker fabrics for a few winter makes- can’t wait to get them! Thanks Pound Fabrics!

This is a beautiful satin fabric that just screams quality. A lovely drape and that satiny feel against the skin just makes you feel so special and dressed up. Just about to make it up for the autumn as a great party or out to dinner dress (hint hint). Tremendous quality and value for money but I KNOW it is going to be slippery, a challenge to cut out and sew so.... lots of pins, weights and clips as I've sewn satin before and it needs patience but is well worth the effort.

what a brilliant fabric that has a very slight sheen to give it a soft silky feel. Made this shirtwaister dress and firm enough for the collar and reveres but drapes beautifully for the full skirt. It is also brilliant in that it hardly creases so when away in the caravan with only a half length wardrobe - it still comes out fresh with not a crinkle in sight. I found it easy to cut out and sew although it does try to move aroud a bit but experience had it tamed.

I love this fabric. I bought the plain grey originally to make a nightie. It was so successful, soft against the skin and easy to work with, I went bolder and bought this beautiful flowery fabric. Easy to make, easy to wear and washes beautifully. I will definitely be getting more. Highly recommended.

Used for my swags to connect to my net curtains (tulle type net and white satin fabric from Pound Fabrics). Some curtain hooks elsewhere can sometimes be flimsy and not strong. These are fairly strong - suitable for medium weight curtains.

These boxes are a real bargain. There's so much fabric, decent lengths as well as smaller scraps. I craft for charity so they're ideal. It's great to get fabrics I wouldn't think of ordering and try them out.
