As always PF delivered the order quickly, with courier updates. This fabric washed well. I over-locked cut edges before washing at 30 degrees. When hanging out to dry I was a little concerned it was a little see through. I delayed cutting my pattern (NL 6500) while I pondered this. In the end I decided to add some pin-tucks to the top of the front in order to create a little more fabric to drape over body and help with it being ever so slightly see-through. I think this worked. Love this French Terry. It’s a great weight for everyday shorts for the grandsons and there are so many fun designs to choose from. The boys love them. And the material is really easy to work with. I’ve finished with shorts for this summer, but I’m sure I will return to this fabric!

This viscose challis is perfect for floaty beach pyjamas, which are so comfortable in this hot weather. It’s a nice light fabric with a great drape. Easy to work with, although it does fray a bit, so it’s helpful to use an overlocker if you can. I’ve bought some other designs, so I’ll be supplying the family with their new beach pyjamas very soon.

Used this black material as a contrast to the check. It gave more body to the upper part of the dress and looks great as a facing to the pockets. There is a slight stretch in the material which is another plus to this pattern as it doesn’t have a zip.

20 year old IKEA Karlstad sofa that now lives in my daughters student house. Nothing wrong with the sofa structurally but the covers had all torn and Ikea no longer make this sofa or the replacement covers. Labour of love this summer to recover it using the old covers as the pattern. Total cost to recover £70! Cheapest replacement covers I could find on line were £350. The fabric is beautiful. I made a simple summer dress out of it. It was easy to sew although it does fray a little bit. The fabric has a lovely weight to it and hangs very nicely. The colours are vibrant and it just had lots of positive comments when I wore it.

A really nice fabric to work with. I've hand sewn, used a machine, & used the overlocker on it with no problems. It is being made into waistcoats for costumes but I wish I had enough to make something for me. This fabric has been folded up but there are only minor creases. Another good quality product from Pound Fabrics.

Great quality with a gentle stretch so I didn’t have to add a zip! I made a shift dress and a longer dress with belt and pockets. They look good with orange top stitch. The longer dress washed well- didn’t shrink or lose much colour.

Bought this white muslin to make swags for my glass roof to stop the glare from the sun. I admit I wasn't expecting much as it was so inexpensive but needed to get something. This is lovely fabric a nice soft drape and very easy to sew with. It washed well and doesn't need much ironing. I made a tilly and the buttons nell dress and have enough left over for a dress for my grand daughter so very good value.

There was a wide range of fabric colours to choose from, I selected the yellow and blue to make a surcoat for my husband and a caparison for his horse. The delicery was quckk and not expensive. This cotton fabric was so easy to use and looked amazing once the surcoat and caparison was finished.

The fabric was a joy to work with for Vogue 2024, soft but not so soft that the shape was lost and it lent itself to pleating. Needed very little ironing once the dress was completed. Excellent value for a dress made with a greedy pattern.

This is the second colour of this fabric I’ve sewn up. The other was also green but a bit zingier. The colour in this fabric is quite rich and has a subtle glittery finish. You’d be wise to mark one side as “back” in a few places as soon as you get it! It’s nice and stretchy and handles well.

What a bargin this fabric is. Great to sew with , water lays on top of fabric,so you just tip it off. Has really brightened up my garden and out door furniture. I am SO pleased with it. 7 meters covered everything with careful cutting.

The fabric was really firm which was great for a robust tote bag. Had to make sure I didn't put interfacing in seams though. I had to zig zag edges before sewing as it frayed quite alot. I have used the tapestry before for bags and I can't fault it. Really pleased and would recommend this fabric.

I just love a batik, and this is a really good one, both sides great, so no wrong side of fabric. Love the colour way. I bought this after searching for ages for a pale sage green fabric to back my William Morris - ish cushions. The fabric is lovely to work with,( far too nice really for cushions). Very happy with this fabric, my husband ordered it for me and I made a dress for every day. The fabric is soft and comfortable that's what I want at my age(73) but you could easily wear it for going out. It washes well and does not crease to much, so very happy with the purchase.

Well done again Pound Fabrics for excellent service, lovely textured cotton fabric at an excellent price. I have washed and ironed the fabrics and there was no shrinkage. The blue is the perfect weight and drape to make summer trousers. The cream well be made into shorts and the white made into a summer top. Very pleased with this order.
