Use this for my button holes. Put a little on each side of the fabric (inside the sewing buttonhole), let it dry and then cut with a buttonhole chisel. Excellent a reducing fraying and lasts a long time.

This ribbing is a perfect match to the French Terry I purchased. Used it to make the cuffs on a hoodie for my granddaughter. The lining fabric was purchased by my daughter from elsewhere. Absolutely love Pound Fabrics cotton jersey, ribbing and French Terry fabrics. The sew up beautifully.

Lovely thick warm fleece. I used a very vintage Weldon’s pattern from the 1960s to make my dressing gown. The fleece sewed very well on both serger and machine, though 4 thicknesses was a struggle for both. Very comfortable cosy fabric with very little shedding.

I can’t believe how popular this Duck fleece is , it’s high demand and just can’t get enough of it . It’s fab quality ( a little thicker denier) if that’s actually a term to use in fleece . Lovely to sew Great service for poundfabrics again

I think this fabric worked really well for the Harper Cardi. It was hard to sew through 3 layers though, especially where seams overlapped. Worth it though and very cosy.

Really pleased with material. Very cute, really softened after washing, though there was some running so use a colour catcher. Brilliant for the price and easy to sew especially as someone who is just learning to sew.

I bought 3 metres of this lovely stretchy fabric and it made 2 pairs of leggings with stirrups. I added stirrups to prevent leggings riding up when putting on boots. The weight and the quality of the fabric is great and at a great price. Thankyou pound fabrics

Used as edging for sweatshirt. I chose white but in hindsight should have gone for a better contrast. However fabric is soft and great to worth with and washes well.

Beautiful quality of fabric; frayed quite a lot and tended to be slippy when sewing. However I am really pleased with the result and it is very comfortable to wear. Washes like a dream and to my surprise didn't need ironing so would be excellent for holidays.

Quality superb almost too good for a nightie! sewed like a dream smooth, stable and didn't misbehave when adding a frill. The colour could have been a little better with a more pinkish hue but this would be the only gripe.

Was so pleased with how my first attempt of making loose covers for my 2 seater went that I decided to recover the 3 seater too! Fabric is easy to work with although my machine did struggle where I had four layers to sew through.

Lovely towelling, I washed and dried in the tumble dryer before sewing up this towelling body and hair wrap. It’s a really thick substantial fabric, It sewed beautifully I just cut out, overlocked to stop any fraying (there really wasn’t much) then used my lovely new coverstitch machine. Very happy, I plan to buy more

First time I’ve used this cuff style fabric and it works really well- I had to cut it lengthwise for the neck though so there is waste. I’d buy two rolls next time so there’s enough for the trousers too.

Lovely fabric to work with. Does not fray. Edges roll slightly as is to be expected with stretch fabric. Used McCall's pattern M7331 adding 1-1/2 inches to length. Thank you Pound Fabrics Linda D

The French Terry fabric is a pleasure to work with. A good weight for the colder weather and very comfortable to wear. Washes very well and although I added a colour catcher to the drum, there was little evidence of colour leaking. Would definitely buy again.

This is such a gorgeous fabric. I was a bit apprehensive about the quality because of the price but was shocked when it arrived.. It’s exactly as described, heavy weight, excellent quality and very very sparkly. I made this bomber jacket and used the velvet as trims and absolutely love it! 🥰 I got so many compliments at the party. Just gutted most colours have sold out as I really wanted to buy more. Hopefully it will be back in stock 🤔😍

Gorgeous fabric I made some leggings for 5 yr old and top for 6 mth old. Very easy to work with and excellent weight for the price. Will definitely be buying more of this in the future.

This festive winter season fabric was bought to make large sized napkins for Christmas and New Year. It was exceptionally good quality smooth cotton with a lovely handle and drape - and I wasn’t expecting to like it so much. Everyone commented on them. An absolute pleasure to sew with!

This dark grey 110% boiled wool fabric is ideal for coatmaking. I used it to make the Florence Coat pattern by Tessuti and I'm so happy with how it turned out. The fabric provides excellent warmth while remaining surprisingly manageable under the sewing machine. Perfect weight for moderately structured coats and jackets but still has some drape. Worth every penny for a quality winter garment.

McCalls 8210 Shacket, now this fabric was way too thick for this and if Ihadn;t had an industrial I’m not sure I’d have got through the thick bits. But that’s my fault for getting excited when it came because it was just so gorgeous! Does fray quite a bit so you’’ll need to zig zag or overlock the edges. 500gsm is so thick and worm and cosy!

This is a lovely tartan effect wool fabric. It's thinner than I expected it to be. But it still turned out as a beautiful garment. A little care has to be taken when sewing seams because the top seam may stretch above the bottom seam because of its looseness. I made a Chelsea cardigan so that I could wear it around the house especially at Christmas. It's such a lovely fabric that it could be used to make several things. In some projects it might need lining.

Great fabric, perfect weight. Beautiful vibrant colour with sparkly flecks. Enough stretch to for my make but not too much that it looses its stability. For the price I was really impressed. Fabulous fabric! Loved the first design. The material flows beautifully. It is a little transparent but that’s usual for a lot of light coloured crepe fabric. It stitched up lovely. Gathered amazingly well and found it didn’t fray that badly although I did finish it with Overlocker for neatness. I will buy this again before it sells out hopefully. It will look amazing for a long flowing Vogue dress pattern that I have been waiting for the right fabric. Think I’ve found it now! Fantastic...

This fabric is absolutely gorgeous, it’s a beautiful design and looks and feels expensive. I had my eye on it for a while then saw it in a department store in Manchester, priced at £10.50 a metre. As it looked familiar I checked the Pound Fabrics website and saw it was identical. Ordered 5m along with some satin bias tape, planning to make some pyjamas for my daughter and myself when I have some spare time over Christmas. It’s so nice I’m thinking of buying it in another colour too.

Beautiful binding, ordered 3 different colours for choice as unsure what it would look like in real life! Amazed at the quality and it will definitely make life easier with future sewing projects, much simpler than wrestling with a bias tape maker and iron. Not used yet but I’m sure it will look beautiful and add a touch of elegance to some pyjamas.

Fabric washed really nicely at 30c, no colour bleed and feels so good to work with. Only a small amount of fraying but once I used my shears, bye bye bits. Out of the 3 meters I purchased I have made one festive apron (which I lined with cotton canvas) and still lots left to make stocking, decorations and headbands.
