I made my dog a coat out of this fabric a while ago and when I needed to protect the back seat of the car from his muddy antics I knew exactly what would work.... the fabric sews well I have also just made a replacement pole bag to our caravan awning in red so highly recommend

The project was a replacement pole bag to go with our caravan awning. I have seen this fabric before when making a dog coat. I knew it would be strong and waterproof so perfect for the job. Picked red as the large awning itself is in two red holdalls so they would be easy to spot in the garage. I also double layered the bottom for added strength. Picture not doing just but it made up exactly as I planned.....

Love this hippo double gauze. Already purchased the blue. It shrinks a bit on pre-wash. Made pyjamas from a self drafted pattern. Washed and tumbled dried, it crinkles evenly so no need to iron in my opinion. Perfect for nightwear.

My latest version of the Southbank jumper dress - this time made for my daughter. I have this fabric in several colours and I am not disappointed with any. The fabric is very soft and comfy to wear. Love the colour of this dull navy.

Lovely fabric, quite a heavy feel and very stretchy. I found using a stretch needle and walking foot really helped. All my cuffs, necklines etc I did with a twin needle. Delivery was two days so cannot fault that. Thank you.

Lovely fabric to sew with, frays a bit ,but always overlock. Tried to pattern match, but near impossible with the curves down the front, but managed to a bit. Very pleased with dress ,that shall wear when I go on holiday for African Safari. All cotton so should keep me cool.

Such a beautiful drape, texture and so "in" for this season! Made the Chalk & Notch No12 drape cardigan that turned out lovely. Will have to add a facing or bias tape to the seams but only as I cut the seams a bit short as it was bulking out! Would sew up again and I am planning to but in a lighter fabric for a light summer jacket!!

This is a lovely satin, was worried it was going to be too lightweight. I need not have worried the dusky pink is a beautiful colour. It does fray and it is slippy but that’s satin for you. Used satin needle and my walking foot and it sewed like a dream. I have made a dressing gown for the bridal team with a contrasting white. Quite pleased with the outcome, 1 down 6 to go!!!

Really good fleece fabric at a very reasonable price. I wanted to make a dressing gown and chose a dark colour as I have two black dogs and a constant battle with dog fur! I used an old pattern, Butterick B5537, and made a size larger than I really need as it is so comforting to really wrap the dressing gown around me in winter. I lined the garment throughout with polycotton as my skin is very sensitive and reacts badly when directly in touch with fabrics like fleece. The dressing gown fell...

This fleece was a real bargain. We were very lucky to be chosen by LilyLongnose to trial a pattern for a dog coat for Molly (previously only hound patterns available). This lovely soft fleece was perfect to test out the pattern at very low cost and has made a cosy coat. I have now ordered some shell fleece to make a wind and waterproof version.

Lovely fabric, ideal for the kilo wrap dress, i thought ot would be a bit see through but surprisingly its not too bad. It drapes well and is very stretchy. It did curl a lot at the edges, like lots of stretchy fabrics do. I did have to baste a lot of places to stop it from curling up on the edges of the fabric. My overlocker liked the fabric. Don't hesitate to buy, it's lovely.

I used the fabric along with the teddy fleece to make and easy clean dog bed and as you can see my dog loves it . This fabric is very tough , waterproof and so far hard waring. I will warn you that you will get through a couple of machine needles as the rubberised backing sticks to the needles .. still worth it 💚

Purchased this with a view to protect my crops on my allotment but the sun came out and provided some shading in my garden. Decided I’ll punch some ringlets and make this permanent, likely that I’ll be back to purchase more. This fabric is close netting and strong, didn’t catch or tear even through it’s been lulled about over and under wood!

Lovely soft fabric. I added a muslin underskirt as I felt it was a l little see through in the sunlight. Only slight negative it was prone to fraying, but I mastered the over locker which solved the issue. Very pleased.
