I love this fabric. I only got a couple of metres but it was enough to cover this footstool. The fabric is easy to work with - does fray a little. but its thick and well woven, certainly feels really high quality. Drapes well and would hold a crease too. The colours are not vibrant as that means bright but clear good colours - not washed out at all. I am hoping to use the remains for a bag of some kind. But would equally work very well for curtains! Another excellent fabric from PF!

Lovely denim to sew with made me a skirt for now with tights but also a nice weight for the better weather with sandals as not at all stiff. Colour came off slightly but a couple of washes will sort that out. Delivery and service from PF brilliant as usual.

Love this spotted crepe fabric. The colours are very pretty and bright. It is a lovely material for a blouse as it gathers and drapes well with no creasing. I used a fine needle 70/10 and a basic foot and no problems with sewing. This is the 5th blouse in crepe I have made and I think for £5 it is a bargain. Thank you Pound fabrics, another great material.

I love the colour it just says summer . Just waiting for some summer but the pattern I have chosen is suitable for when it is a bit cooler. It will Fit the bill perfectly . I absolutely love these stretch bias tapes. They are so, so soft and stretchy and recovery is instant. No issues with skin contact, they really are very soft. They are lovely to work with and give a professional finish to your work. I love the print on this fabric. It really frays and has faded in the wash a bit. I don’t mind the distressed look though. Still 5 stars as it was me picking a non-dressmaking fabric and insisting I make a garment out of it because I’m just that stubborn.

I bought this in aubergine but definitely brown. Would have loved the blue but unfortunately was sold out. Not normally my colour but not to be defeated carried on regardless and tried out a new pattern as well. Used McCall's M8284. Ended up with a pleasing result and we'll fitting dress. Nice material to work with. Very soft needlecord.

Lovely fabric which is wonderful to sew with as it doesn’t fray. I used my walking foot and a jersey needle. Myrtle the whippet can report that her new coat passed the wind proof test with flying colours. Surprisingly warm while being very light. Will test in a shower if Myrtle agrees to go out in the rain! About to order some more in a plain colour to make more dog coats for her sister and friends.

This purple crinkle polyester is a winner with me. Washed brilliant, dried almost instantly and didn’t really need ironing but I ran the iron over it quickly. It was ever so slightly springy to cut out. I made the mistake of using a perfect match thread which came with my sewing machine but it seemed to wrinkle the seams so I unpicked them and used Gutermann, now perfect seams! I am a complete novice and this is my first ever attempt at sewing clothes. From a distance (and perhaps with the lights off) it looks almost like a t-shirt. I chose this fabric to practice on. It is very forgiving when the seams need unpicking and behaved itself well when sewing. The selection of fabric here is such good value that I’m looking forward to ordering more to practice with!
