It is thin but heavy for its thickness. I thought it would be hard to cut but with weights and a rotary cutter it cuts very well. The lovely drape will make a great waterfall cardigan.

I love this fabric so much and it went perfectly with a panel of quilted fabric that I already had planned on making a sewing machine mat with. This John Louden cotton fabric is fabulous quality and would be suitable for quilting, clothes, bag making, etc

Not made the garment yet, will be perfect for an overtop in cooler weather. I have used bouclé before from Pound Fabrics, made a short jacket and also a winter waistcoat, very successful but I did avoid buttonholing on this fabric.

I made two pairs of sssnakey knickersss using Tilly and the Buttons pattern. I chose the mid rise, high leg option and they are the best comfiest knickers I've ever had. The fabric is excellent. Good four way stretch, easy to cut and sew!

The crepe texture of this polyester fabric may not be to everyone’s liking but it’s great value, lovely base colour and flowers that are true to PF image. Easy sew and perfect for Vampires Wife style dress or wide leg trousers. Washes and dries without need to iron, a perfect addition to any suitcase.

Fabulous fabric at an amazing price. Washes and irons well, much less creasing than many viscose challis but all the drape. So good I bought both colour ways. Perfect for all those Peony dresses out there

Im back sewing after 45 years and after making simple bags as practice, decided to try and make some trousers. I made my own pattern from a pair of my own and was really pleased. Ive improved the fit at the front since i took the photo. The fabric is fabulous to sew with.

Washed before I cut it out as I imagine it shrinks. Lovely and soft I have made a very twirly dress for my nephew's little girl, I hope she likes it.

I have already brought previous colours of this fabric but decided I needed some black just in case. A good quality cuffing fabric which I have also used to make some short sleeves (in another colour) - so adaptable:)

This fabric consists of two layers so is quite thick - more of a autumnal fabric than summer. Will be either making toiles from it or possibly a top for my Mum:)

I’ve had about 7 lots of Rose & Hubble fabric, which I have made into Pyjamas for a friend, dresses for my Granddaughter & a shirt for my husband. Washes & irons beautifully. I’m sure I will be using more.

Lovely to sew with and despite not liking the pattern (McCalls M 8090) and the fabric being not my usual colours I really like the dress. It’s very “airy” and comfortably cool but hopefully doesn’t make me look too dumpy.

Gorgeous fabric to sew with. Made my husband his first Tony Shirt from Emporia Patterns. The colour is lovely & bright, irons superbly. If you get the other 2 colours in stock I will definitely buy again.

I love the fact this has some stretch, helps to avoid creasing. I have made trousers and shorts. This fabric does The grey was not the shade I expected so I would advise getting a sample first. Great value for money. This fabric does shrink a little so would recommend washing first

Lovely fabric, it sews up so easily, doesn’t fray, has a nice amount of stretch. Personally I don’t find it itchy, but it is see through, hence the under slip. Washed at 30, no shrinkage. Pattern 119, Burda magazine 9/23

Washed very well, didn’t seem to shrink at all. Perfect for a MR tumble costume for my nephews birthday! The trousers and the back panel of the waistcoat are made from this fabric and couldn’t be happier. Easy to sew, easy to iron. Definitely happy with it!

I bought a lot of this to use as toile fabrics but it's been promoted to main fabrics, I love it so much. And so cheap. Washes and wears well and perfect for summer tops and shirts, especially for husband who doesn't care his wardrobe is mostly the same colour and fabric. It was supposed to not be first grade but other than a small slub which I managed to spot and cut around, and the lack of a selvedge which I wouldn;t normally use anyway, not found any flaws.

Beautiful fabric to work with, good weight and lovely texture. Made these seat covers by unpicking the old tatty ones and using them to cut a new set. So pleased with them ( and so is Poppy my dog!)

What a beautiful and soft fabric this is! I will definitely be ordering in more colours. It is warm too. It is quite stretchy so I think if you don’t have an overlocker, you might find it a difficult fabric to deal with. This is the free Sinclair cardigan pattern.

Thank you Pound Fabrics for another lovely fabric, the colours are so vibrant and the design is fantastic, it's just joyful. This is my first foray into sewing stretch so have started small with some Waves and Wild beach bummies.

Bought this last year very cheap but lovely to work with. I used a Vogue vintage pattern to make a long gown to wear on my hols last year in the carribean, pool/beach side. I used double layer of muslin in the body of the gown and single layer in the sleeve.

This fabric is a good quality jersey and was perfect for the back of my top. It has made the garment look and feel professionally made. The thickness of this jersey I feel would make some nice loungewear for the cooler nights or some nice thick t-shirts for the autumn/winter. I used a stretch needle and Maraflex thread while sewing this jersey which has been a game changer. No more jumped stitches and much neater seams.

This is a fun canvas oriental style fabric from PF. I've added a black border to the bottom of the jacket and around sleeve endings as well as the front. The cami is made from black fabric from PF too. The fabric does look very effective as a simple jacket and is a dream to sew. Price is great for the quality and I'm making a bag from fabric left over.

I really enjoyed using this great fabric. Easy to handle and sew, it made for a great fun shirt. I did wash, dry and iron the material before using, and it has been fine going through the wash subsequently. Now on to the Paisley material I bought. Pattern is Burda 6349.

My first make with material from Poundfabrics! Trousers made in Wide Stripes Seersucker at just £1.75 per metre (£3.50 for the pair!). Beautiful fabric to work with and incredible value! The pattern is adapted from Burda Style Magazine 05/2021 Mod. 102 - I made a wide leg version.

My first purchase from Pound Fabrics and couldn’t be happier. Such a great service and fabulous quality. Saw another customer post of a similar romper suit made in this fabric (Kangaroos Double Gauze) and just couldn’t resist making one for my grandson. Haven’t sewed in 30+ years but super happy with how this has turned out and have a feeling this will be the first of many purchases from this company 😉🦘🦘🦘

A little slippy to cut out, but not difficult. I was surprised that this fabric didn’t fray a lot more than expected. I needed to alter the tension on my sewing machine as it is fine, but not so much that it needed to be lined. Overlocker didn’t need adjusting.
