They sent us the bike without the battery with no issues. They tried sending the battery separate but nobody will ship the battery for us. I can adjust to the battery meter being off. (It goes for dozens of miles at 100%, then drops off a bit too fast.) This will in time perhaps be accurate, if the battery ages enough to not hold a full charge. The pedal-assist controller should really be less crude, though. H7 Step thru AWD 60 amp This bike is perfect except for low power in Pas and throttle. 175 lbs +5lbs gear top speed 30 mph 32 at slight down hill. What I mean by low power is it takes forever to pedal to 12 mph. It needs more pep. I recommend larger front chainring. Get the 60 tooth chainring or bigger. It will not affect lower chain gears. Had it for a day so may change some perceptions later. It is a super cool bike, but not perfect. Suspension is almost non existent, way over sprung unless u weigh 400lbs. In US we don't ride 8 people on a bike.. The rake is also a little too much IMO, too chopped could steer better. Rear caliper has one washer that shouldn't be there, makes caliper ride a little to high and defeats purpose of dished caliper holder, just study it, you'll figure it out. I have been happy with the bike with one major exception. My bike was delivered with a bent front wheel with about 1" of lateral runout. I was promised over a month a go that I would get a replacement for this wheel. There have been almost 20 emails exchanged on this subject. For the last 3 days, inquiring again about the availability of the wheel, I have received zero response.
