I ordered a pair of the Suisei Japanese edo glasses which were presented in a distinctive wooden box. The glass is quality in terms of weight and in design. The etchings on the glass added to its uniqueness. You can serve drinks either on the rocks or neat, and easy to sip. I would recommend.

I am very pleased with the glass and the workmanship. The feel in hand is great. With the wooden box, the wrapping and the little card it is a really great purchase. On a negative note the glass I bought as a little air bubble in the bottom, very easy to see. As it is to give as a gift I am not at ease with this. The Yuki - Japanese EDO Kiriko Whiskey Glass allows the color of the whiskey to come through and provides a substantial feel in the hand as you savor your drink. The glass is different from the traditional wide bowl and small mouth design in that the structure of the glass is much more robust with thicker glass and the textured surface with a wide mouth that allows for appreciation of the aroma as one drinks the whiskey. I found it gave a superior whiskey drinking experience.
