The detail and weight of this coin is outstanding!! Gave one to a 97 year old Marine Veteran yesterday. He was shocked and said I can't keep this can I? I work at General Old Golf course, which is next door to the Riverside National Cemetery. I have the Ceremonial Guard come for lunch everyday. One of them is a US Navy (FMF) Corpsman like myself. I've given your pin to a couple of my ex-military friends, one was in Vietnam and still feels the effects of that time serving our country. I have given away about 8 or 9 coins over about a 3 week period. All of the veterans have been surprised to receive a coin, but are grateful for receiving a coin. The vets vary from WWII to current conflicts. The WWII vet was on the verge of tears and said that he had never had anyone thank him for his service after all these years.
