My husband and I are both veterans spanning 58 years of active service. I was diagnosed with ALS last February. We have been going down to Seattle VA Puget Sound. There are many vets that have no one. Most are lonely. We listen to their stories and after Iwe came back home to Ketchikan, Alaska I felt the urge to give them something, so I bought the coins to give them,. i have had so much fun walking up to vets and thanking them with handing them a coin. The appreciate eyes i get makes it worth wild. i have bought about 100 pcs i wish you had a friends and family deal with cheaper prices maybe buy 100 at a time to give out even more. i sent to Hawaii on vacation and gave out 30 to vets at pearl harbor. Two WW11 folks got very emotional. ITs so worth it to be able to do it.

Just a little delay in shipping, so I sent an inquiry via email and had a quick response and the order was shipped the next day and they were at my front door in two days. Just returned from a 12-day cruise where I gave 20+ “Thanks for Your Service” coins to the many Veterans onboard. In every instance of my encounters with “older” Vets receiving the “coin” was sheer joy, some even be brought to tears.
