I have not used this patch yet, but it looks like good quality and label indicates has strong adhesive. Love the design, too! I'm almost looking forward to having something rip or come apart, just so I can use the patch. :)

Used the spoon for the first time last weekend and it performed well. I would like to see a tiny bit more depth in the spoon, but just love the quality and finish.

I love it! Gave them as gifts to my brothers and dad. Came quick and in good condition in the mail. Sparks super well, I don’t know what I’m doing but it was easy and fun to use. Definitely recommend this product! I want more!

I gave this as a gift along with the fire starter. Both were quite a hit! Perfect for my outdoor-loving cousin who prefers practical gifts. He can be difficult to buy for, but this year your items made it easy to please him. Thank you!

Great little stove using wood. Had a hard time getting it started ( it was 15 degrees Fahrenheit, so my fingers were cold), but once it was going, heated up pot after pot of water and snow. Packs really small and used an alcohol burner inside it in the morning to speed up packing and worked great with at as well.

Bought 3 different brands of fire starters to try. First test wasn’t even close. First brand failed to spark, second brand sparked and even created a short ember. The Uberleben started a fire on the first try. Great product!

I really like this kit for many reasons and see this kit used in a couple of ways; one, it can be a standalone, lightweight kit. Two, it can be used as a backup to or in a layered approach to fire-making in support of a more robust fire-making set up (lighters, etc). I myself use this kit as a backup to my main kit, but also a drop in my pocket kit for day hikes away from camp, when I am not lugging my whole pack around. I can put this in my pocket and carry water and snacks and be set all day f...

This thing works too easy. Been trying to master real flint and steel. Still have a long way to go with it. Bought the Uberleben firesteel and tinder wick to see what all the hype was about. No effort required to get a flame. Not an EMBER, a FLAME! Going to keep my Uberleben stashed for a worst case senario. Awesome product. I highly recommend it.

Top quality. The only thing that I would love to see is a wood sheath that has a rubber o ring at the enter point to hold snug against my rod to protect it and a place to put your company name. Am proud to carry it you should be proud to put your name on it.

Gave this as a xmas gift along with a tinder wick. He loved it.!! He's always hiking or camping or just always outdoors. It's a great unique gift for someone. Quality was excellent and shipping was fast. My only complaint is I wish it came with some kind of description booklet. But other than that very happy with purchase.

Your are small survival stove works very well in the woods. Does a great job but you have a Inuspecus private fire . Tested out your Ferrous rods. They work so well, I gave some to some very close friends. Thank you. Jim

Light with your ferro rod and use just like a match you can move wherever you need it. Plus its basically waterproof, so bring on the rain and when you're done just slide the shield to snuff it out.

This was the easiest ferro rod that I have used. When used in conjunction with the wick/bellows it made starting fires on the trail easy. Also lights my canister stove on the first try. I live it.

The first one I received had a small leak in it. Shot them a quick message and they sent me a new one right away. Phenomenal customer service. And coffee tastes so much better in a kuksa. Love it!

The very best rod on the market. Very well made products great customer service and fast shipping. Don’t trust your fire making needs to any other rod. I have used them all. This is hands down the BEST, period!!!!

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to firestarting with flint & steel. I did about 2 hours of Internet research to get the basic concepts down, then started hunting for a good starter combo. My choice was Uberleben's 6" Hexa Fire Starter. Although the cost was marginally higher than what I had hoped, its mass and strike potential (predicted number of strikes) sold me as a durable tool. (I later learned it is well worth the price!) When it arrived, I scraped off the outer protective paint to exp...

This stove is great for backpacking. It appears to be well made and fit together quite easily for me. It has an approx. 2.5" dia. circular opening in the front and accepts branches readily (once your tinder and smaller kindling are sufficiently burning). It also stores very nicely in the canvas pouch for transport.

Great kettle for backpacking ... most “kettles” are make shift pots lids ... it is nice having the kettle just for water and it’s small enough that’s it’s not a weight issue.

Really awesome. It directs heat upward towards cooking section very well. It does go through your fuel rather quickly if it is windy but on a calm day that is no issue at all.

What can I say? It's a sparky spark rod that goes sparky sparky. Works perfectly and will make a nice addition to my hiking pack. Can't wait to get started.

I haven't used it yet. I have put it together several times and it is a breeze to do. I really do like it. I am just waiting on the two top support strips to come in, when they become available.

Found works well in wet weather, of the pacific northwest Lightweight: is part of my edc for wood walking in combo with small fixed blade knife both carried in a small leather pocket sheath. For me the easiest way to get fire going in combo with small fire steel.

I’m a field botanist at Oregon State University and I typically spend spring, summer and fall working in the woods and specifically in wilderness forests of the Cascade range. Basically, I camp/backpack for 7months a year and I have never been so impressed with a pack stove!! It really compliments my titanium snow peak cook wear. I have used it in the rain, subalpine snow pack, high desert and in the temperate rain forests of western Oregon and Washington! Great stove, wouldn’t go to work withou...

I just want to say, I was a little skeptical of the hexagon shape at first. But after watching a couple of youtube videos, I was completely onboard. I first ordered the three inch size and I love it. Too bad I didn't go ahead and order the six inch also at the same time. Now they're out of stock and I must wait for restock. Great fire steel, I easly recommend this fire steel to everyone, and personally I like it better than the round ones! Chasly

I was able to fray the ends very easily and spark an ember glow with just 4 strikes on my 6"Hexagon ferro rod, which I had purchased from your company previously. Utilizing the 'bellow' staff,I was impressed by the increased airflow, which expedited the onset of a flame. A 'must have',especially for the hiker/backpacker,hunter,outdoorsman,survivalist or in your SNAP(Situation Not As Planned) bag beside your first-aid kit,in every vehicle that you own.

It is exactly what it is advertised to be. A big metal rod that will make sparks and start life saving fire for just about the rest of your life. I mean that I'm 42 and I'll never need another striker again. It comes with a handy tool to provide maximum spark but will spark just as well with the back of your pocket knife blade even a sharp rock. I tested it with a rock and it works just fine. I like forward to making a leather belt sheath for it. It would be nice if it came with a sheath but I l...

An excellent piece of camping cookware.Great size, proportion and design. The handle can easily be changed from a 'lifting' position to one that allows you to 'hang' the pot,for cooking. Cleans up easily and stores nicely,in the 'waxed',zippered case. This maintains a waterproof cover for your pot. This bag can also be used as a 'tinder' bag,to collect and keep the tinder dry,as this is a vital necessity,to create and build a viable fire, for survival.

I got the hexagon because I thought the shape would be easier to hold and I was right! After a few practice strokes I was ready to go and now have a lifetime of a reliable fire starter that gives a crazy amount of sparks. I found the loop of the leather cord to be a bit short so I undid the loop and knotted each end of the leather strap to the rod & the steel to give plenty of length.

I have been an USAF Combat Engineer and Scout Master and I really appreciate the compact, durable design of your FIRE KIT 2.0. I bought one for myself and for my Eagle Scout son who loves to Camp and get off the beaten path but we have yet to try it out in a real world test, so I would like to respond after we use this amazingly well designed Fire Kit 2.0 on one of our adventures. I did open it up to discover how much you were able to squeeze into that box and I was having a hard time getting i...
