One of the best Ferro rods I have used. The length (5") makes it comfortable to hold and easy to use. The material is softer than the ones I've had which means you get more spark with less strokes. Just wish I had found these years ago. Thanks Überleben !

I only received it a couple weeks ago and haven't used it yet. I would have preferred to give a review after I used it, but the keep sending me these requests to review....🧐 I can say they shipped quickly and it arrived in perfect condition, the packaging was great, well protected and unopened. I am planning on additional purchased of the tea kettle, but not yet.

This really works quite well. The striker is awesome. Why can't I get it separately? I ordered another one just for the striker alone. But anyway the little rod does indeed throw sparks, and I think Uberleben's rods throw the best sparks. I have another brand that throws lots of little cold sparks like a sparkler. This little Uberleben rod shoots larger, longer burning sparks. And it looks cool. Thread a neck knife through the lanyard and you have a fun, functional ensemble. Accessorize, Man!!!

I look for products only made in the USA. This product does not disappoint. It is very nicely made, easy to assemble, and works well. I love the product. The weight is great, it fits easily in my pack(s) and makes my back-country cooking a pleasure. I would recommend this product.

I bought one for a girlfriend, who loves long pendant necklaces and who also loves to camp and chill outdoors, so it was a win-win gift. She'll probably wear it around her neck while shopping, etc. I also bought one for myself because I'm an outdoors person too (and to make sure it was as cool as it looks). Trying it out brought my child-like joy! Seriously, it's really a great tool.

I really like this ferro rod! I have been looking for a high quality ferro rod for a long time and finally found the Zunden pro 3/8 ferro rod. Bought it to just test and man it worked perfectly. Two strikes and the campfire was on. I will definitely get more. Highly highly recommend!

I will post a photo also. This is a great item, but then again most everything from Uberleben is. You can use tender but don't have to with Tindår Wick, it is almost cheating.

Everything uberleben makes is perfect and works great I have a lot of products from these guys and can't find anything to complain about, as an avid hunter/fisherman I can honestly say this is one of the easiest rods to use throws sparks like no other because of the shape anyone in the outdoors should have one and pair it up with the tindarwick and bellows that now comes with a tin so you can add a few small fire starting items like a backup lighter or extra tinder to make an ultimate minimalist...

This is the perfect size mug for me. The 8 oz. is too small for me. I also like this handle better than the other, much more comfortable for me. Also, the customer service for this company is wonderful. I'd highly recommend this product and company.

Bought one for me and two of my brothers and we love them. Hard to spill, hard to break, it fits comfortably in your hand no matter how you want to hold it. Just don’t use it for coffee or it’ll sweat through.

These wicks are a good idea. I plan to look for a couple of very small diameter pieces of brass or copper gas pipe, that these wicks can fit snuggly into.

We absolutely love the kuksa cups. We have both sizes because my husband has large hands and I have small hands. I got both sizes just in case one didn’t fit well, but both sizes actually fit both of us comfortably because the finger holes are larger and the shape is very comfortable in hand. They are also very easy to clean. We enjoy water and wine in them. I’m buying another set for family. We love them!

Fantastic ferro rod. 8” means it will outlast other ferro rods with the outstanding quality of uberleben. This ferro is for my custom bushcraft sheath, however this would be perfect for a bug out bag or emergency kit. Buy with confidence - company is very ethical and the products are excellent.
