Finally received my MìLà dumplings. My first order was delayed and arrived unfrozen due to Fed -Ex and unexpected weather issues. I emailed MìLà customer service and they made it right and promptly resent my order.

I have always loved dumplings! There was a brand I was buying from my big box store but they were microwaveable and they would fall apart. Being able to get a soup dumpling that not only tastes great but holds up and never falls apart is great. My only problem is that I can’t stop eating them. I just saw a video on pan frying them, so that is what I am doing next! 😋😋😋

We were excited to finally order some dumplings. The online shopping experience was easy, the items were shipped quickly, and the dumplings arrived frozen. They were easy to steam and delicious! These are, by far, our most favorite. I think I’ve ordered Mila 7 or 8 times now, trying all of the many delicious dumpling flavors. This one is simply spectacular. OH my gosh! These are *so* delicious! I ate the whole bag in three days. And just ordered two more bags! It took a little finessing to figure out how to keep the soup in the dumplings. The best method was to oil the parchment a little and put the steamer on the pot and bring to a gentle steam together. I love these dumplings, and they have been a welcome replacement now that many indoor dining options are unavailable. The umami sauce alone is worth the effort to order and is now an flavorful addition to almost everything I eat! The delivery timeframe is pretty limited but right now, given that I am home from work, it is not an issue.

I ordered on Friday night and they got here by Tuesday and they were still frozen solid. I was relieved to see they hadn't melted and refrozen into a solid clump. All of the dumplings where frozen individually and didn't stick together.
The actual dumplings are a little smaller than say a Din Tai Fung dumpling but it's not a bad thing, just a matter of observation. They taste great. The skin is thin and light but sufficient enough to contain the soup. Definitely will order again.

As a native of Taiwan who grew up dining at the original Din Tai Fung, I give the taste of these dumplings 4 stars! The flavor, texture and juiciness are all there. Wish I had found this earlier in the pandemic. Would highly recommend a little more dry ice in the pack. When I got it there was just a tiny bit left.
