Other brands that I have used are super delicate and I have to stop often to let it cool or clean the belts. Mavericks sanding belts are tough and durable and do a great job of taking down the wood without the issues of all other brands that I have used. Thanks!

I love the Maverick Adhesives Drum Sander roll. Outside of having to cut it to the perfect length, it is perfect. it doesn't get clogged as quickly as other papers. The paper is thicker, so it stays in place better than other drum sander paper. I sand a ton of end grain cutting boards and, with other papers, I end up with burns and uneven areas. With Maverick papers, this does not happen. Also, with other papers, the ends get brittle and end up coming loose after a few uses. That has not ...

Used this compound with the Orange Air way wheel on a cast aluminum mold i have and it worked great!!. I was easily able to move remove 400&600 sanding from hand sanding and the random orbital. I worked for a company for years and wasn't able to get a finish this nice this easily, using the setup they had.

First time user of Maverick Sandpaper. I love this stuff! I refinished a 48" tabletop with finish on it and it cleaned it all off to bare wood with only one disk. I also sanded a end grain cutting board to super flat and smooth with 150 grit and 180 grit and both are still like new. The holes in the paper fit Festool sanders perfect.

I use my drum sander probably more than I should. I use it as a planer, a sander and it helps me get my wood square. The Maverick abrasive rolls are amazing! I use 36 grit for a few things, 80 grit is my standard, I also keep 100 grit and now I’m thinking about adding 220 for the final sand on table tops.

It took a few minutes to learn to properly cut the sandpaper to the proper length and shape the ends. A few more minutes to trim the ends. After I installed it on my Superman 19-38 drum sander it performed better than I hag ever seen it work. I cannot begin to say how very pleased and impressed I am with the product

I've used Maverick wheels for years now. Great company to deal with even when there's an issue. I think it was 4 or 5 years ago I got 4 or 5 wheels in an order of 20 or 30 that had bad welds on the rings. I contacted them and they sent out replacement wheels asap. Back when Matchless sold out they were the go to for many polishers, once their quality dropped off, I tried 6 or 8 wheel manufacturers before I settled in to Maverick. For Stainless, do a small area at a time. Change thru all 3 buffer wheels using the associated rouge in that same area. That keeps the metal warm and it shines-up much faster.

First time buying from Mavericks and I think I’m switching over to them from now on. Order came super quick, put the abrasive right on the machine as I had a job for it and was very pleased. It seemed to more uniformly graded then the other stuff I used to buy as I wasn’t getting ridges and valleys like I did on the others. I’m sold on Mavericks.

I built a home drum sander. Cost Me a total of $85.00. It works perfect. I have all grits of paper. The course paper (80) works best. It is much quicker. I will buy this roll paper again.

I purchased 25 yd rolls of 80 and 150 grit. I’ve used it on my drum sander taking wood to thicknesses between 1/16 and 1/8 inch. Quality is very good and price is better than I’ve found anywhere else.

I purchased two roll of 3" wide paper, 120 from for my JET 16-32 drum sander and love this paper. I had been purchasing individual rolls from various sources but they never cut the wood like they should. Glad I found Maverick Abrasives. Garrett Aryan was a big help. One man shop that makes doors and also guitars I sanded down the rosette parts with 6x80 sand belts and ran sound board through wide belt sander I finished with a 180 grit belts and was very pleased with finish, the seems they use on belts leaves little to none at all seem marks, most other suppliers fine grit belts leave marks that take some work to clean up, almost no need to use the platen bar. Both wide belts and edge sander belts I received from Maverick are very nice.

Received belts last week the 6x80 grit belts cut very fast on hard items such as abalone shell that made my job easy, taking rough pcs of shell sanding them flat and square. Very pleased with the quality of belts, they also track very straight hats off to Maverick Abrasives

Small one man shop kind of retired but can't give up the trade, it's great that Maverick will sell such good quality belts to small shops for fair prices, 37x60 80 grit belts have no problem taking down Hickory doors. Got belts in quick turn around time, had question on shipping so I emailed them and within in a few hrs Garrett Aryan from sales got back to me, it's nice to be treated like you are a bigger customer.

These seem like really great abrasive disks. The have a heavy cloth backing. The adhesive is uniformly applied and is adhering perfectly to the still disk on my wonderful old "Wonder Grinder." The Maverick disks are slightly larger than the stated diameter which allows some latitude during installation. Trimming off the excess with an old file was easy. Thanks for a great product!

I ordered this product for an unusual purpose. I needed to be able to get a piece of course sandpaper to glue to a large 5x3 foot board to use to train my dogs to file their own nails. I tried the squares that you can get at a hardware store but they would not stay in place. I bought their 6x48 belt and I couldn't believe that this sandpaper was that good compared to the price. It was half the price of the same thing at Rockler and the seam was un-noticeable while sanding. It was very smooth! I will definitely be buying more of their products going forward.

These are great sanding belts! They last a long time, and give an excellent finish. They are the perfect touch for the end of a job to make the wood look it's best. I disagree that sanding is not fun! Sanding is the best part of the project when the beauty of the wood is revealed in full measure, and the results of all the effort really begin to glow! With good quality sanding papers and belts, the project will always look it's best.

I have been a lifelong user of that other sanding sheets and recent was very disappointed. I decided to try Maverick and am completely satisfied. The backing is very strong and the grit holds up to great abuse on both metal and wood.

I've now used the 40g Zirconia on two jobs. I was pleasantly surprised as it seemed to perform at least as well as the more expensive brand I've been using for years, possibly better. It will take a few jobs to tell for sure. I plan on placing another order with 100g included. If quality is consistent, I will be a happy returning customer.

Making these lil rascals has been a whole lot easier with the fine grit belt. Sanding time has been cut in half and no more deep scratches with these belts. Unlike that cheep China crap, these are FAR better than I expected. Thank you !

We were sanding the floors in our 100 year old house- at least 4 coats of paint on there. Our local hardware only went down to 36 grit so I jumped online and found 24 for the drum sander on Maverick Abrasives. Got 10 (which was enough to do every room with painted floors in the house) for way less than our already very inexpensive Menards nearby. I am using the 36 grit Zirconia 2 x 48 with a small but very sturdy Palmgren 3/4 HP belt sander. Mainly I prep metal for welding, knocking off mill scale and grinding chamfers. This belt rips through it with very little drag on the motor. I would use a finer grit for major deburring but you can do it on the slack side if you are careful. For heavy stock removal this is perfect.
