I’m very happy with this purchase. The Installation and remote programming instructions were both straight forward. My only challenge was that the screws that were included to attach to the wall were much too short if you’re screwing them directly into studs (only 1”). They probably would have been okay if using the drywall anchors but I wanted it to be more secure. Just a warning that you will want longer screws if drilling directly into studs. The blind is fantastic! It does a good job of blocking out the light and is much better than the curtains I had before for ease of use. If you want a complete block of outside light inside the window frame would not be a good choice. Some light around the edges is not an issue for me. My only complaint is that there is not app from Smartwings to unlock more options for use. Google Home does not yet support schedules with these blinds. Having a basic app would be nice for an ecosystem that does...

The documentation/manuals were easy to follow. I like that printed copies were provided so I did not have to find them and print. The installation was easy because of the good design. Package arrived with small damage, luckily not noticeable. The shade is packed very well, and the quality of the product is excellent. Instructions are easy to follow and accurate. If you're mounting on wood be prepared to provide your own screws. Instructions for programming the motor are thorough but must be read carefully. My shade was about 100 in long and required (4) mounting brackets, so care in bracket alignment and leveling pays off when trying to mount the shade on the brackets. ...

I bought this light‑filtering and blackout shade for our master bedroom, and it works great. I chose it mainly to integrate with our Home Assistant Z‑Wave system, and the integration was seamless. I added short usb c cables to extend the charging ports because upper shades blocked access to the charging port. I ordered matter motors and I control the shades thru Apple Home. Very easy to connect to Apple Home and to add automations. Make sure you triple check your measurements! Mine fit well. My old cellular shades hung down about 4 inches when fully opened.
