Product is high quality, instructions are not. They don't appear to be written by someone whose first language is English. Beautiful shades and great smart Matter Motor for my Apple Home. If you are NOT a handy person with home projects, I recommend a professional install, especially for any shade that is wider than a typical 32" window. We have an area that is not easily reached in a living room with vaulted ceilings. We ordered the fabric swatch book and one test shade to review. Shade, 15-channel remote and smart link were received in just a few days and installed in less than 15 minutes, including the pairing of the smart link. DIYer, installation was easy. Love that I didn't need to provide AC power. Neat and trim. But the fabric isn't up to Sunbrella standards. I have other Sunbrella fabric shades that have been up in Southern California for 15 years facing east southeast and no sign of falling apart. I'm not confident this will last as long. This was our second order with Smart Wings! We love that our Roman shade and drapery match! Other local companies wanted to charge us $5300 and their shades were not automated. I couldn’t be happier with my new roller shades. I ordered ivory safari 70% black out, does a great job of blocking the sun without totally darkening the room. I am simply blown away by SmartWings products. We just finished a full home remodel and the algo has been targeting me for a while with SmartWings products, so I decided to give them a try. The measurement procedure was very straight forward and on a few instances where I had some questions about rounding up or down, their website customer service chat had an answer for me within minutes. Install was easy. Measurements were key, as I have a good fit for better enegy efficiency. Love the low noise levels when the blinds go up or down. Given my configuration, the batteries had to go on outside of blinds. This increases their visibility. In the end, I think this is better as it makes the recharging easier with easy access. Even this large shade was easy to install. The parts fit perfectly and the shade operated immediately. Thank you! One suggestion for improvement, it would be good to know the tracks should be longer than the height of the window by the width of the weight bar at the bottom of the shade. If I install the shade at a height to close the window completely the bottom of the shade remains in view while the shade is full up.
