They look and work great. These windows are 10 ft. tall, so I wasn't sure whether the solar panel would provide enough power to maintain the battery charge with multiple uses per day. But so far the panel is able to charge the battery by about 6% per day, which is much more than any normal use can consume. The measurements came out perfect and it was super easy to install. The fabric and the rail are sized exactly right, the brackets at the top aren't visible, and there's no light gap at the top either. It looks neat and clean, and is exactly what we wanted.

Install was pretty straightforward if you're a little bit handy. I didn't use the plastic drywall sleeves since I knew there was wood in the top of the window frame so I just drilled pilot holes. The brackets seem sturdy. The hardest part in a long window is that the window frame might not be straight so you might have a hard time clipping in the blind or you could adjust the brackets with washers to get them more in line if needed. Excellent blind - it was super easy to fit and so much cheaper than some of the alternatives. The customer service was also excellent when I had a few hiccups connecting to Alexa. My only feedback is that I wish they had more fun colours! I went with light cream, which is fine but if they ever release more colours I’ll definitely buy another one

I initially purchased one Matter enabled SmartWings shade. It took a bit of effort to verify I could integrate into my Matter system - the shade worked fine, it was a learning curve to get rest of the Matter system working. Once that was working as expected, I ordered 5 more SmartWings shades. We can control the shades easily with the SmartWings remote. I am working on getting the shades controlled automatically with my Matter system based on the morning sun schedule.

Well, I've purchased and installed a lot of different blinds over the years and these are by far the best quality and easiest installation of any I've ever installed. THE install was quick and straight forward and the blinds are of great quality. The motorized shade function is quick and seamless. We are now going to do the rest of the house. Yes, they are not cheap but worth every penny.

The fabric for both the light filtering and the blackout look exactly the same when comparing. The blackout shade blocks 100% of light at night and all except the side cracks in the day. The light filtering shade is beautiful in the day and barely lets any light in at night.
