What surprised me (in a good way) were all the things that helped me, not just my heirs. I bought a new car a few months ago and had forgotten to change the information in my EZ Pass account. I discovered that my 401k beneficiaries weren’t set up per stripes, since that wasn’t an option in that plan, so I transferred my 401k into a Rolliver IRA. I’m not finished with the set up, but I can see how valuable the NOK Box will be!

I bought the Lite version since I already had a file box and plenty of hanging folders and file folders (but if you don’t, the cost of buying those yourself is about the same as the additional incremental cost of the regular Nokbox, so the convenience is worth it). I like that everything is well thought out. I’m still working through the process but having recently updated our wills, trust, POAs, etc., I find the forms ask all the right questions needed to get your stuff together.
