I brought home a cat without talking to my husband….. decided to soften the blow by making care of said cat even easier and was referred to pet snowy! Incredible little machine. I have four cats and change the bag maybe every 4 days or so. More than once a week but it might take 5 days to fill. They all use it no problem but I didn’t use the front panel lid. We have had this about 3 months and it took less than a week for all cats to use it. I don’t have a second litter box set up anymore and there is no smell at all. The litter for the most part stays inside which is huge as most cat owners know. Honestly .... Best investment I made! Chaos took to it with no issues, initially just being curious on a day one and checking it out but from day two going in exploring and within hours I was able to get rid of old litter tray ... I just got this for a few weeks now. My cats were a little hesitant at first so I just followed the tips they provided to keep the lid open or curtain off. I did both because both my cats are different. My Grey/white cat loves to climb so opening the lid was a great way to have him explore on his own. My black cat doesn't really do much climbing so I just keep the curtain off to have her explore thru the door. Both methods worked and now they can use it with the lid off and curtain on. Love this unit. Took my cat quite some time to get used to ut. Did it by leaving the top off and putting it back to manually clean for about 3 weeks. With 1 cat the disposal bags last 3-4 days. There are some slight drawbacks, the unit smears waste quite a bit and requires frequent cleaning which is not hard because it disassembles pretty easy, just a bit of a p.i.t.a.
