I love that it doesn’t squash the bread and it’s easier to cut the right size slice. Still need a bit of practice as I find it doesn’t cut right down to the board. Seems strange the blade is on the side, I feel the handle should be on the top not at the side and the blade straight down, but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it.

The lame is great. Very nice gift and perfect for scoring bread. The knife, on the other hand, is not great at all. Very clumsy when cutting a round loaf. Very sharp though so be careful!
