I love fresh bread. I love baking bread - but I have always been rubbish at slicing fresh bread. You know how it goes, raggedy slice is thick on one side, thin to non existent on another. Absolutely useless for sandwiches, or to chuck in the toaster ~ but not any more! This is amazing! I absolutely love it. I can cut beautifully even slices every time. Thick, or wafer thin. It’s so easy! (It’s also extremely sharp, I cut my finger taking the guard off the blade, so be careful.)

Weird at first, but definitley more control, even slices, right down to super thin. Storing is a challenge, but I am keeping the plastic on the blade. I would improve the sheath for the blade going forward, make it thicker and easier to put back on. All in all, good investment with all the bread I bake or buy.

This is one sharp knife and so easy to use. We have used it for cutting several different loaves of bread and it cut smoothly thru them all! No more crushed slices! Watch yourself around the blade though, it is very very sharp and can slice a finger very easily. Keep the blade cap on when not using it!
