So far, I've been happy with the pixels. No more untwisting traditional pixels. A string of 100 fits easily in my hand. Colors are great. Brightness is great. I haven't had any failed pixels yet. A few things I've run into: 1. These are not DIY. If you cut them to make a custom string, it voids the warranty and the UL rating. The EVOs were for my mega-tree expansion from 32 x 100 to 48 x 100 (16 ports of 300 EVOs each) and for five 7-foot column matrices at 10 x 90 (3 ports of 300 EVOs each). Due to voltage drop issues, I had to power balance from right before pixel 1 to between pixel 200 and 201 on the mega-tree and pixel 1 to 300 on the matrices. I was looking for a way to add power to a large array of lights, 648 to be exact. Originally, I would have had to build 5 additional receiver boxes, but these cables should allow me to use the existing box and it's power supply which would save me hundreds of dollars. I really like my lights. So far, I have my 8' "sasquatch" tree, the lights, ground stakes, "guy" lines and the 1'2 meter rigid lights for the top. I'm not sure if I need anything to attach the top lights to the tree & I'm looking to see what type of LOR controller I will need for the top & then I'll be done with the tree & ready to move on to the next project!

I have 500 EVO pixels on each of my 2 large EFL Teddy Bears and are driving each Bear, at 30% power with power balancing, from a single channel on my HinksPix Pro controller. they look great and will make their first public appearance this Halloween.

Got these on sale for Labor Day, they were delivered quickly via Amazon. They appear to be pretty high quality as far as seed pixels go. The 12+ wire is clearlyu marked which can be an issue with other manufacturers. Great product, I plan to order more.

I'm so excited to be using these pixels. I'm inserting them into new Coro props and they are flush and still light up the prop incredibly well. The storage will make it easier as no bulbs poking out on the front making it smooth and the back with the smaller wiring occupies less space. Just great all around.
