For an obscure American classic I needed a 22mm pipe to connect to the EGR valve. It needed to be softer to flex to fit into a very tight space under the carb, and Car Builder Solutions was the only place that stocked something suitable. Wasn’t sure what to expect with my first order. I am rebuilding a 1966 Datsun Roadster and the MGB rod mounted mirror was a perfect fit. This will allow me to install a reproduction dash without drilling through it to mount the mirror like stock. It should also allow for better adjustment for viewing.

The difference here is that the car is due it's IVA in February, and I needed to make sure the pipe is properly IVA friendly. The previous pipe is probably the same stuff, but without the relevant documentation I wouldn't have got any further. The package arrived very quickly, certainly within 36 hours of ordering it but they forgot to deliver the sunshine with it and we have only received rain since. As a result I have not ventured outside to install the isolator yet but it is on hte cards for tomorrow if it does not rain. Hopefully, as hte installation looks very simple, the remote isolation switch will just drop in place and work straight away, there is no reason why it should not.
