It was good to get proper copper fuses from a british supplier rather than having to await a delivery from Australia. These fuses are less likely to suffer heavy corrosion due to dissimilar metals reaction than the common aluminium ones.

I tried making some brake pipes up using one of the cheaper style tools where you use a clamp and a small die that pulls into the tube and never got central flared ends. They were always distorted. So I bought this hand held tool where you screw the former into the tool. Easy, v simple and quick with perfect ends every time. Don't waste your time on the cheap stuff. This tool is not expensive and I recommend it.
