I had a formal event in Toronto and needed a last minute dress. I popped into Fitzroy and in less than an hour I had tried on the dresses I saw online and was on my way with this great dress in hand. The staff were all wonderful and made my first experience at Fitzroy a positive one. For reference, I'm 5'9", 180lbs and typically wear size 12 in pants and the size 16 fit like a glove. The dress fit true to size for me. I ordered the size 4 and I’m 125lbs and 5’5”. The length was a bit of an issue for me. I wore my highest heels and it was still pretty long. The split in the front helps in this case as it looked a bit like an over skirt with a train because I was shorter. But it was a bit cumbersome to move in as a result. As usual, a flawless experience renting from Fitzroy. From trying on the dress in store, to prompt delivery, to clear return instructions - they are consummate professionals. Absolutely loved wearing the Blossom two-piece - felt gorgeous and appreciated the many compliments I received in it. This is my second time renting with Fitzroy and I cannot recommend them enough! The whole process from start to finish is a breeze. I opted for the shipping with FedEx and received my rental earlier than expected which was an added bonus. The return process was super easy too. The Babylon Pleated Jumpsuit was very comfortable and is a beautiful colour. I love that it has the appearance and elegance of a dress but the comfort of a pantsuit. My only thing is I’m a tall girlie (5’11 without heels) and the dress was short on me. I don’t live in the Toronto area and had to do an online fitting, where I was sized for the bust area, but we didn’t touch on the length of dress. I envisioned a full length gown, but it still worked out and the dress is beautiful. It fit quite well- again I probably could have sized up but that is the challenge with online fittings. I rented my second dress from the Fitzroy and it was amazing! A very delicate and beautiful dress -the first layer is a nude colour strapless stretchy slip type dress which is snug and stayed up no problem or fuss all night. The second layer is the elegant lace and it hangs down the body right to the floor. I am 5’9 and I ordered size 8 based on the stretch and it was the perfect size- though I did need some help doing this one up as the material is very lacy and requires a gentle touch. It was...
