I had to add industrial strength velcro pads to the collar on top of the old velcro, I made the new velcro 2 inches wider and longer.My cockatoo can no longer remove the collar please look into making the velcro on your collars longer and wider.that really works.thank you ,barry donheiser

Sugar & I liked this one. It is nice and light and transparent so I can see her but she has gotten hold of the black padding and chewed it half off. It may be better used as a cone in the other direction but I'm now trying to figure out how to sew some sort of padding on the neck so the sharp edge isn't against her skin.

Saved my bird's life Our female cinnamon conure plucks her chest whenever she broods. The first time we nearly lost her since she plucked herself bloody overnight and required stitches. We found these vests and they solve the problem. As soon as she lays, she goes into a vest and stays there until the chicks are fledged. She still plucks the vest, the fringes are the first to go, but she no longer plucks her breast.

Kevlar vest I like it, although one of the velcro strips came off in a short period of time. I took it to a tailor and she put backing on it with a new velcro strip. The good thing about this problem was, I found a great tailor. I highly recommend the Kevlar vest.

The only one my bird keeps on This cone is the only one that my Goffin keeps on. She knows hot to take all of the other ones off. She has broken some of it but as long as it stays on I am ok with it. I got the size 406xs and it fits fine. I have only two of the snaps snapped so if I needed to I could snap the third.

Excellent Quality and Fit The fit was perfect for my Goffin and the products were very well made. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use them because my Goffin passed the day after I received the products. I plan on donating the products to a bird rescue group - where I'm sure they'll get lots of use.

Following the sizing guide for a Greater Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo, I ordered a large collar. Once secured onto the Cockatoo, I noticed it appeared rather large for her. The collar draped down below her neck and covered part of the wing joint that would allow her to extend her wings, almost constricting the movement of opening the wings. I attempted to make the hole for the neck smaller but have not been very successful. I need to order a smaller size.
