well made, great design , sturdy, My macaw is 30 years old so I am still working with her . Right now I sit with her and I gently place it on her back. she doesn't like it however, I feel she will get use to it. It's time and patience. I have a groomer that comes to my house and I might have her put the collar on . I'm not sure if this is a good thing to do or a bad thing to do.

This is the only thing that has helped my caique. She has been plucking for 4 years....she'll pull a pin feather and eat it. Her blood work showed that she's a little low on calcium. I've tried other calcium products, but I think that this formulation must be easier for the body to process because there is improvement...and I'm actually feeling hopeful!

So the bitter apple spray is in a bigger container, should last well over a year. It works fairly well. I only use it when she is bleeding. Hope that it does not sting her. But anyway, the bird is definitely a happy bird and she gets a whole lot of attention, and she is friendly with all people. So I don't know why she started picking at age 9. Oh well. As they say in Borneo, "that's the way it goes".

My Sun Conure was able to rip apart the velcro within 2 weeks. Which made me have to buy another one. However, the product worked as intended while it lasted. Maybe a bit heavier then needed but it was a good product. Wish the velcro was a bit more heavy duty.
