Very happy with product and service! My Lesser Sulpher-crested Cockatoo loves smelling the herbs! Not sure if she’s eating any of it, but when I open the bag, she sticks her head in to sniff. The supplement for her water dissolves completely and she hasn’t noticed. She’s not a super noisy bird and her feathers are amazing, but she seems to enjoy the calming effect. (I’m guessing she’s around 45 yrs old). Very happy with both supplements so far!

Poncho with knit cuff The knit cuff stops Peaches from plucking his neck. The length stops him from reaching back to pluck his shoulders and back. I did have to cut some off the end as it was a little long for him.

Great for chest or patagium wounds/incisions A nice, soft collar for birds to prevent mutilation of chest. The velcro makes it nice for owners to be able to remove the collar at home for preening.

Citron Cockatoo Excellent collar, very easy to slip on so no velcro she can rip threw and take off, lightweight and easier for her to move around with, she is a self mutilater and was given to me to help correct her behavior and make her feel safe again, with this collar and my Avian Vet we are on the right track. Thank you for making a great collar

Fringy collar Cherie (G2) wears her collar all the time in combination with a plastic collar underneath the fringes which nicely help also to hide the plastic nut and bolt which closes it (she is very adept at opening closures -- velcro, snaps, nuts and bolts, etc). Very mechanically inclined. She needs to wear it all the time as she relentlessly rips out feathers (it's a habit). This morning she had a bath and afterwards she was too fast for me and rip, there went a chest feather…

Certainly works It does the job! Don't get me wrong, my Hahn's HATES it, but a few days of slowly putting it on her more and more and she's accepted it as her fate. I take it off every day for about an hour just to give her time to preen, eat some food with her feet, and usually she manages to pluck just one feather.... but it's a process.

Fringy Collars work great! We use the fringy collars at SEAVS post surgically for avian patients when it is critical they do not chew open their incision. Because this collar covers a large area, we are even able to use it after toe procedures and only the most persistent patients can get past the collar. The clients love that these collars are soft and come in pretty colors and we don't see the "rub" injuries that we sometimes get with the heavy plastic collars.

Too early to tell any improvement. I don’t see him drinking the water which I daily change and put calming powder into. He never will try chamomile tea. I put a drop of calcium on an animal cracker so he eats that. I could never get a collar on him and he must be stressed enough. Maybe I could have a avian vet do it. Very sad about my conure. He is healthy in every other way.

Contented Goffin We put the collar on Rosebud this morning and she seems to have adapted well. We have used many of the veterinarian collars and bands which seem terribly uncomfortable and she lashes out at me when she gets the opportunity. She is quite calm and I am very impressed. I am hopeful this will cease the plucking so she can grow in new feathers by winter. Thank you for this wonderful accessory!

Great Product I am still trying to get my Blue & Gold used to this collar but I am very impressed with the quality. When I was not sure it would fit I received a prompt email and was advised a quick and easy remedy for that concern. Great customer service. I will submit a picture once I get my little girl used to the collar.

To help my lovebird I just started using this with my lovebird. It appears to soothe the spot, and I’m hoping that this along with her collar and the birdie herbs helps to break the plucking cycle.

The collar is very great quality; it’s very well made and durable. I had to trim the collar around the neck area because it was too tight for my lovebird. The outside part needed trimmed as well, as it was too long for my lovebird to be able to move around. It does seem to prevent her from plucking at the top of her wing, however she can still reach the bottom part and is still picking. She also figured out how to loosen it during the day when I’m not home, so she’s started pulling the feathers ...

Best parrots collards ever I have tried many different types of collars (leather, leather with foam) the unruffedrx felt collars are the best. They are light so they do not damage new feather growth and do not impair the bird mobility, they are comfortable, washable (cold water only) and fun looking. I got a jungle color size large (Fringy Bird Collar for Severe Feather Picking Parrots) for my eclectus and it works great! The best part is that you can reduce the diameter of the collar or some o...

Sturdy fringy collar My bird is a small for the breed Senegal. I Bought a size small. I liked that I could trim out the neck for a custom fit. It's a study skirt that holds up to her beak but she is a foot chewer and had no problem getting her feet up around it. For my bird, a wider flare to the skirt or a bit longer skirt might work better.

Works well! My lovebird had a small cut on his leg that turned into a huge mess once he started picking at it. I was running out of options on what to use but luckily I found this spray and it has helped so much! I sprayed his wound once in the morning and once at night and in about a month his skin was all healed with his feathers growing back in. Highly recommended!

Perfect We needed this after my Cockatoo broke her wing. While she had a cast I got the heavier leather lined collar. It fit and worked great. Unfortunately the wing repair did not work and we had to amputate the wing. The leather lined collar was a bit too heavy so I needed something lighter fast to protect the site. The collar worked perfectly and my 2 is doing well. She seems to like wearing the collar now.

Fleece velcro collar The collar was perfect, and came as quickly as I ordered it. Our little Quaker did not like this around her neck, but not due to quality. This collar was great, allowed Bonsai to chew it constantly but did not degrade. Would purchase again if needed.

Great Collar I have two problem children one is a Scarlet macaw and the other is a Mollucan. I tried this color on my scarlet first and she was able to remove it so I then put it on my Mollucan who is been wearing a vest for approximately three years now and I’m delighted to say that his body can breathe again because of this collar. He has not tried to pick at his chest since putting it on. Highly recommend!

Singing in to rain My African Grey Parrot skin was to dry and when I saw this product I bought it right away. I have noticed that she is not scratching as much I think it’s doing the job she love to be sprayed with cold water so I put it spray in the frig. I do recommend this product.

A Life Saver! I needed a collar asap, as my bird had broke a blood feather on her wing and then started to mutilate the area. After a quick visit to the vet, she recommended a collar. This collar was suggested in a FB bird group I belong to. I ordered it with expedited shipping and it came right on time. It fits perfectly and is incredibly sturdy. While my B&G hates it (we had no time to train for her to get used to it), it did its job. I would highly recommend this collar!

Does it's job! I bought one of these for my umbrella cockatoo. Seems to be doing the trick for the most part...definitely better than some other options we've tried. I had to purchase a second one because he has almost chewed through the first one. No fault of the collar, he manages to chew through everything. Might be just a little too big, but as I said, seems to be doing it's job. Super glad we found this website, and the customer service is great!

No pick spray I’ve been trying many different products to get our African Grey to stop plucking her feathers. This no pick spray has worked the best so far. I think it’s taking the itch to pluck feathers out away. It seems to keep her feathers not so dry. I really appreciate this product. And I appreciate all your help in trying to help our parrot.

Aloe Vera feather plucking spray Our African Grey parrot has been picking then destroying her feathers in the last few months. We tried spraying her with water, spraying her in the shower and even started an oral presentation medicine from our vet. So far nothing had worked to deter her from destroying her feathers. Very effective and soothing preening spray My Blue Crown Conure Kiku has developed an issue where he is plucking his leg feathers. He's had numerous vet visits and while they're trying hard to figure out what the issue they really don't know why this happens. One of the things I tried was a home made spray of water and Apple Cider Vinegar, and the vet (who's great) said it was ok to do. It worked ok, but I was worried that it wasn't soothing in any way. I also tried Aloe gel, but it was har...

Great! Great tube for birds who pick their chest or upper chest. My molluccan cockatoo plucks his upper chest and this has helped so much. I ordered the X-Large but hes too smart for his own good, so I had to put a bandana over top of it so he couldn't see or turn to get his bald spot.

first impressions I ordered this collar in both the slip on and velcro styles. Both are well made. The slip on style helps a lot to protect the chest, but leaves room to pick feathers around the neck. The velcro style closes closer around the neck, but the weight of the velcro keeps it in the front where she focuses her chewing on it. Both styles are light enough for her to get her wings around and reach the upper feathers. Because of this, she now wears the ruffled version. These unruffeled ve...
