Destroyed in HOURS. I am not sure whether I received a defective product or the vet put it on too loose or what. However, within 3 hours of this being placed on my Indian Ringneck she had shredded the velcro and escaped. I gave 3 stars assuming that mine was the exception that slipped through quality control, but if this is the norm then I would not recommend purchasing.

My canary had stress during molting and lost the feather’s picking and plucking my canaries feathers almost lost I spray all over in the body only not the eyes and nostrils my canary was like death I thought died but it’s dryad and came back to stay in the perches now she is stress less and I think I need to use it more and more so canary can healed

I originally purchased a neck collar but my bird was able to get underneath it to pluck so I ordered a collar that came with protection for his body as well. He isn't too happy but it sure beats having him wear the plastic cone that they put on him at the vet. He wasn't able to sleep comfortably in the plastic cone. Now he moves around better and sleeps under his blanket every night with no issue. I'm very glad that I made this purchase and I definitely recommend this product to anyone!

Hi Diane. The sock cover pattern is a great idea and using diabetic socks made me feel I had the best fabric. I was extremely surprised to see that the cuff of the sock actually is leather and I have used it in the neck tube collar. It's soft & unstable. Certainly not usable for a severe chewer but I looked real hard and my U2 isn't mutilating, she's only removing her down. The feathers she breaks aren't pulled from the skin (yet). Flying High This is a great product..exactly what i was looking for..i had previously purchased the poncho cuff neck but had many difficulties taking it off to give him a break..i was also using cotton a-shirts cut into long bandage style pieces to protect his neck and back using tape to close it..worked for a while but then it would loosen up! with that being said this neck collar has worked out great and the wound is healing nicely with the exception that parrots are very smart..he has manage...

Update to first review. I had to be away overnight for medical reasons. When I got home my Chika was naked! Somehow she had slipped the collar over her head and plucked feathers and skin from her legs and chest. I was obviously too cautious about not getting it too tight. When I put it back on her, I put one finger inside next to her neck and pulled it snug. I will see if it was all my fault or if she still manages to pull it off.

Very happy with product and service! My Lesser Sulpher-crested Cockatoo loves smelling the herbs! Not sure if she’s eating any of it, but when I open the bag, she sticks her head in to sniff. The supplement for her water dissolves completely and she hasn’t noticed. She’s not a super noisy bird and her feathers are amazing, but she seems to enjoy the calming effect. (I’m guessing she’s around 45 yrs old). Very happy with both supplements so far!
