The Douglas Day-Date MECA-41 is my 1st AVIATOR-WATCH and I'm very impressed. The dark rose gold/bronze finish is perfect and matches the leather strap well. The intricately crafted multi layer dial is something I've never seen before. It's smaller size makes it an ideal gents or ladies timepiece.

Unbelievable build quality, it's so thick and chunky and the metal bracelet simply dwarfs other watch bracelets.
I also found out that Vostok watches are hand assembled from a video of their manufacturing process on YT, which further makes me feel that Vostok watches are truly great value for money.

I've owned my vostok europe energia for nearly a year now, working perfectly, I work at a tip in Northampton so my watch takes alot of shocks and bangs but it is so well made I think I could run it over with my jcb and it wouldn't scratch it.
