I home and field tested the fire starters. Confirmed the 5 min burn time. In the field, if fire is built correctly, they will definitely start a fire. But, in my opinion, the instructions on how to prep the starter does not work as well as I anticipated. I found that if you work the whole starter first, softening it or even opening it up completely, it works much better.
