The shirts are fantastic. My kids and I play together whenever we can and now we can show our love for this game. Was thrilled they had them in a good size for them. The base game and monster packs I got as a family gift for Christmas last year and they were so excited to get the shirts for Christmas this year. Really excited for the expansion. My kids ask me often when the expansion will get here. Excited for the future of Necromolds and to share my love of wargames with my family.

Ordered this as an introduction to table top gaming for my 5 year old. Wasn't 100% sure how it was going to go as he's still pretty young and has the attention span of a 5 year old, but he was instantly hooked and we've been playing a game or two a day for the past week! Such a fun game for everyone--from players new to wargaming to experienced players! So excited by the potential and encouragement to add our own rules and put the joy back in playing miniatures. Uniquely designed to appeal to our subconscious millennial lizard brain that was conditioned by childhood commercials to like bright colors and fun monsters, making your armies is a game on its own for me and my friends, and I really hope a series 2 is in the works!

Played our first match last night. The creation of the minis was so much fun that we enjoyed joking about the little mistakes that come with the first molding. The start of the match was a mad dash to the middle losing almost all of our mud mumps in the first few turns leaving a wall of clay in the center line. Showed my son a video of people playing necromolds on youtube and he same calmly, "Oh, I like that, I really like that", so I picked the game up. He absolutely loves it, and the rules work really well. Lovely introduction to Wargaming for kids, but with enough meat to satisfy the adults.

Easy for my 9-year-old to understand, but it’s also quite easy to adjust rules up or down as needed. Great entry into “mini” tactical war gaming. Best part? Smashing your vanquished foes is sooo satisfying. Highly recommended. Call to Arms expansion highly recommended as well.

Really enjoyed these two. Batadactyl has great mobility and adds a flexible range attack but still has a pretty solid melee. Mongeragon may be my current favorite golem. The ability to respawn after squishing was a lot of fun and annoyed my son to no end.

The little kids get to mold monsters to fight, stab and squish. The bigger kids graduate to the battle box and learn the rules, because who doesn't love rolling dice? And then we grown-up kids add in Call to Arms and make things really interesting... Not a single regret with this purchase. Terribly fun all around.

I got this for my child for having straight A's all school year. We saw the demos at Adepticon and fell in love with the idea! Now playing it, it is exactly what we were looking for to introduce our 11 year old to the world of war gaming. My kids, 6 and 8, love it. We play the basic rules version to get right into the action. Grabbed some bottles of the usual "play clay" to get some fun colored armies. Note that the purple clay that came with my starter box was very dry, nearly unusable, but luckily we had tons of "play clay" to start our games.

Necromolds, has been a great hit with my kiddo. It's nice having a wargame that a child can play that is still interesting for an adult. Plus the golems are so satisfying! The sculpts look great, and it's just *fun* to have little monsters you don't have to be precious about because they are all destined to be squished.

Necromolds is definitely a fun time! Whether you are playing with the full rules and all expansion or you just have the base box and are playing "just make monsters then squish 'em." I have the base game, Call to Arms, the 4 player expansions, and 2 monster expansions and it's a really enjoyable time with my friends during our game nights. I definitely plan on getting the remaining explains I'm missing and any future ones when they come out.

Fun game, even for those that have played more complex table top war games in the past! Quick and easy rules to learn and explain. The gem economy with units getting smashed really kept games from becoming a steamroll, even when we tried doing a three player game. A lot of fun, and the games go fairly quick so you can get a few in at a time potentially.

First of all I’ve been playing Wargames for 22 years now, even have designed and sold some of my own games, and this game has it all. Easy and engaging have my kids play, and as an adult I can’t believe I never thought of a game where you get to mold your own monsters. This game is way too good! It’s like an even simpler version of any table top war game with playdough! It reminds me of games you could find at toys r us in the 90s and early 2000s so the level of nostalgia is really high! It’s really easy to learn as well takes only like 10 minutes of reading the rules!
