Necromolds is so much fun and easy to learn. My wife and I played several games in a row trying new ideas, strategies and golems and quickly lost track of time. Beautifully designed and wonderful mechanics. Would highly recommend it to casual and serious wargamers alike or even people who have never played a tabletop game before.

This is the most fun I've had with a boardgame since Heroscape back in the early 2000's! Necromolds makes the whole genre of wargaming cost accessible to a wider audience, and the tactile joy of playing with clay and smashing enemies is super fun and engaging. Now instead of scrolling social media on the weekend mornings I'm making homemade clay and sculpting battle map terrain with my kids. (And they're even doing extra chores to get more allowance to buy expansions. 😜)

The shirts are fantastic. My kids and I play together whenever we can and now we can show our love for this game. Was thrilled they had them in a good size for them. The base game and monster packs I got as a family gift for Christmas last year and they were so excited to get the shirts for Christmas this year.
Really excited for the expansion. My kids ask me often when the expansion will get here. Excited for the future of Necromolds and to share my love of wargames with my family.

I've always been interested in wargaming, but I never got into it due to the cost of the miniatures. Necromolds has been a blast so far. One of its strongest features is the variable complexity, it truly helps ease anyone in that might be hesitant about the many rules of most war games. I can't recommend it enough, I just hope there are more monsters/expansions in the future.

Necromolds is a great time! Listening to the instructions alone might make it seem more complicated than it actually is. My husband and I played Necromolds for the first time last Friday and it didn’t take more than a few turns for me to pick it up. Mind you, he read all the instructions and watched a video explaining the play. My favorite part was definitely the smooshing of his Grave Ghouls and Mud Mumps. Couldn’t quite take out his Insectomite though…unfortunately for me. 🥲

With a little parental guidance my 5 year old and 8 year old were able to play on the basic rules (minus gems) and had a blast in all forms from molding to battling to squishing. Photo shows the final results of their first game. Looking forward to playing advanced later on.

Such a fun game for everyone--from players new to wargaming to experienced players! So excited by the potential and encouragement to add our own rules and put the joy back in playing miniatures. Played our first match last night. The creation of the minis was so much fun that we enjoyed joking about the little mistakes that come with the first molding. The start of the match was a mad dash to the middle losing almost all of our mud mumps in the first few turns leaving a wall of clay in the center line. Easy for my 9-year-old to understand, but it’s also quite easy to adjust rules up or down as needed. Great entry into “mini” tactical war gaming. Best part? Smashing your vanquished foes is sooo satisfying. Highly recommended. Call to Arms expansion highly recommended as well.

Really enjoyed these two. Batadactyl has great mobility and adds a flexible range attack but still has a pretty solid melee. Mongeragon may be my current favorite golem. The ability to respawn after squishing was a lot of fun and annoyed my son to no end.

I absolutely adored the concept of this game when I first saw it on Kickstarter, but had unfortunately missed the boat. I'd been keeping an eye on it ever since and jumped on the chance to grab it when the updated release came around, and I do NOT regret it!

The little kids get to mold monsters to fight, stab and squish. The bigger kids graduate to the battle box and learn the rules, because who doesn't love rolling dice? And then we grown-up kids add in Call to Arms and make things really interesting...

Necromolds, has been a great hit with my kiddo. It's nice having a wargame that a child can play that is still interesting for an adult.
Plus the golems are so satisfying! The sculpts look great, and it's just *fun* to have little monsters you don't have to be precious about because they are all destined to be squished.

On game mechanics: I am quite pleased that the game has different levels of difficulty. We were able to introduce our 4 year old to this table top game, while keeping it simple for her. On the other hand, bigger kids and grown ups can play using the more sophisticated game rules. We plan on gradually introducing her to the more advanced version of the game.
