While the Necromolds Battle Box is already a blast on it's own and has quickly become one of our favorite games, the Call to Arms expansion improves it even further and adds some exciting "crunch" for players who seek it. Necromolds is the kind of game for people that are interested in table top war gaming but are hesitant to go all in on a whole army, the more spell books you get the more customizable you can make your forces, and once you’re done it all goes back in the jar for another grand battle

The only thing more satisfying than seeing my girlfriend gleefully smash my monsters is the feeling of me smashing her last remaining monster in victory . . . this game is awesome, easy to pick up and I'm excited to get a better grasp on it so I can delve into the expansion pack - I can't wait to see this game grow and I'm so glad I came across it. Wow, where do I begin? This has to be one of the most fun, well constructed and thought out game I've played. The molds are excellent quality as is the clay. The golems come out incredibly detailed and with a base! The clay is perfect for squishing and smashing and makes it so easy to want to play. The love and creativity is clearest on the character cards with lore for each one on the back. Necromolds fan forever!

Honestly obsessed. Love how smooth and approachable the gameplay is. Constantly trying to find new people to introduce the game to. Hoping to delve in to 3-4 player matches soon as well as the Call to arms Expansion. Yes it’s designed in a way to be palatable to kids, but I’ve only played with adults so far and we all love it. Perfect for the table top gamer who doesn’t have the extra time to put into the standard mini war game. Also nothing beats smashing your enemies with the ring.

Love it! My 7-year old took to it easily - the instructions are easy to follow and figure out and get playing quickly and there's enough depth to keep it fun and interesting. He brought up using little swords and axes so We're already talking about getting call to arms

I’m an old-school war gamer from the 80’s and I played this for the first time and had a blast! It’s a real kick to make your minis with the spellbooks. I used a toothpick to help clean up the molds and smooth out the mold lines-because, you know, I could. My 5 year old granddaughter helped me dispatch my fallen foes by squishing them with much delight. Another year or two and I think she’ll be ready to play a stripped down version with me…I can hardly wait :-)

The introduction is easy to understand. When you add the expansion rules, it becomes strategic. The experience of creating and destroying clay golems is a unique and fun concept that you can't find anywhere else. Highly recommended!!!

this game really was amazing, front my mom to my dad to even my grandmother, it was a great and fun experience for everyone. I especially love the creative twist this game has, and there is nothing more fun than squashing a monster you've been trying to get down. overall, this game is an extremely fun game, and I am definitely recommending this to my friends!

We just played the game for the second time and included these new molds. I really enjoyed the toad additions. The sculptures are detailed and I find them to be slightly better than the mud mungs.

I got this game for my husband for Christmas. He is a lifelong Warhammer player, but I've never played a wargame before. I thought this would be a fun way for him to introduce me to the concept. Got the base and couple of expansions set, we tested the base game to get our head around the rules and loved it! Which is was more available in the UK as we would live to pick up more of the monster packs really easy to understand can't wait to try it with the call to arms weapons next time would definitely recommend!

What fun! A very accessible war game with great visuals and lore. Gameplay is not difficult to learn, and once you get in the rhythm, battles really flow. This game is so fun. I have adult friends who have wanted to play war games but don't have hours upon hours to play and learn. I also have young nephews who love rolling the dice, squishing the armies, and making the armies. This is a great game with plenty of replayability. Loved it!

This has become my GO TO wargame! Easy and accessible but adds lots of room for strategy - and then you can really turn it up with the expansion, Call to Arms. This is my 90's kid at heart ultimate tabletop experience...where else can you actually SQUASH your opponents? The production value is top notch, and the aesthetics make this a game my family wants to bring the table again and again!

Necromolds is a great way to introduce the next generation to tabletop wargaming. My 6 year old son loved rolling the dice and smashing my models. He was able to grasp the standard rules fully by the end of his first game, and he already recognizes the importance of selecting the best models for his list. Great game. My 7yo and I are having a blast with the Basic Rules variant of the game. This treats all monsters as having the same abilities as each other and focuses on understanding the dice and movement tool. It's easy enough for my kiddo to grasp. And it means she can use her home brewed "Death Snowman" to fight my army of Mud Mumps!
