I’m an old-school war gamer from the 80’s and I played this for the first time and had a blast! It’s a real kick to make your minis with the spellbooks. I used a toothpick to help clean up the molds and smooth out the mold lines-because, you know, I could. My 5 year old granddaughter helped me dispatch my fallen foes by squishing them with much delight. Another year or two and I think she’ll be ready to play a stripped down version with me…I can hardly wait :-)

We just played the game for the second time and included these new molds. I really enjoyed the toad additions. The sculptures are detailed and I find them to be slightly better than the mud mungs.

Love the game! Simple fast paced game with a more complicated way of play with the Call to Arms expansion. I've played a lot of Tabletop Games and I've got to say, I'm very impressed with Necromolds. (P.S my wife and wallet approves the game as well)

Got the base and couple of expansions set, we tested the base game to get our head around the rules and loved it! Which is was more available in the UK as we would live to pick up more of the monster packs really easy to understand can't wait to try it with the call to arms weapons next time would definitely recommend!

Necromolds has quickly become one of my favorites. No lie, I played a single battle with my buddies' game and knew I had to get Necromolds for myself. I have since bought multiple character packs and have shown this game to just about anyone who would listen. I could not recommend this game more.

This game is fantastic. It’s fun, well made and can be as simple or as layered with expansion as you elect to implement. My son and I love playing Necromolds and exploring new monsters, rules and powers/strategies.

What fun! A very accessible war game with great visuals and lore. Gameplay is not difficult to learn, and once you get in the rhythm, battles really flow. This has become my GO TO wargame! Easy and accessible but adds lots of room for strategy - and then you can really turn it up with the expansion, Call to Arms. This is my 90's kid at heart ultimate tabletop experience...where else can you actually SQUASH your opponents? The production value is top notch, and the aesthetics make this a game my family wants to bring the table again and again!

Necromolds is a great way to introduce the next generation to tabletop wargaming. My 6 year old son loved rolling the dice and smashing my models. He was able to grasp the standard rules fully by the end of his first game, and he already recognizes the importance of selecting the best models for his list. Great game. My 7yo and I are having a blast with the Basic Rules variant of the game. This treats all monsters as having the same abilities as each other and focuses on understanding the dice and movement tool. It's easy enough for my kiddo to grasp. And it means she can use her home brewed "Death Snowman" to fight my army of Mud Mumps!

I've had a fantastic time with this game. Using playdough to create units is a stroke of genius that adds an extra layer of interactivity while making sure your game doesn't take up multiple shelves of space. I'm looking forward to what Necromolds has in store in the future.

This game is so fun. I have adult friends who have wanted to play war games but don't have hours upon hours to play and learn. I also have young nephews who love rolling the dice, squishing the armies, and making the armies. This is a great game with plenty of replayability. Loved it!

This game is legit. I picked it up having a history of playing miniature war games with my buddies and we had a great time playing it. It led to many new inside jokes like going all in on mud mumps and mumpin' your enemies. Great time overall!

Necromolds manages to encapsulate everything to love about the hobby of miniatures. It can be paired down to for a younger audience without comprising on being a complete game. Even for the older audience, its a complete skirmish package for a "beer & pretzels" game night. If you have young ones, I can't recommend this enough. Even if you are experienced in the miniatures hobby, just grab the expansion and some extra monster packs when you buy the core box and just have fun.

Right out of the box we were set up and playing within half an hour fully understanding the rules. My 11 year old had a blast getting the hang of the game quickly and thwarting my early game strategy. We had fun. This game deserves every piece of playdo- spellclay one can bring to the table. Do did ever play grape escape as a kid? Did you swear that you can't buy any more mini based table top games because of space? Have you ever wanted to smash your opponents pieces? Literally? Well Necromolds has you covered. Insanely creative take on monster battles that seems like it could have endless expansions and possibilities! Awesome game for all ages! My wife and I enjoy playing with the full rule set. There is enough strategy for me as an advid gamer while being approachable for folks who aren't. We have a 4 year old and a 2 year old who love to mold the monsters, roll the dice, and most importantly, smash the monsters! The design is perfect to engage the kids and add rules as they mature. Everything I, and my kids, could look for in a war game. The rules allow for a ton of flexibility and fun and we're easily picked up by my 6 and 8 year old. I found them quickly being able to play it themselves and delve deep into the lore which they loved. The look, feel, game mechanics, length, and dice rolling make for what has become our favorite game.

Where was this game when I was a kid?! When I first saw this game I was sceptical even though I knew I wanted it. This game really is Warhammer meets play-do. The rules are simplistic and easy to follow. This leads to easy game play even for beginners. For whatever reason it's very satisfying squishing the monsters with the caster rings. The battle box starter set is a good introduction to the game. I look forward to collecting everything this game has to offer

The kiddo and I love this game. I found a monster pack alone in my LGS and picked it up because I loved the retro 90's toy aesthetic and flavor. Such an awesome idea that has so much passion and care put into every detail! My son loves play dough based games and this is the perfect game to get his creative mind going while still giving that base fun of squishing stuff. War game with Playdoh that you can smash sign me up. The molds look amazing when you pull the pieces out. This part can take some time but once you get use to it, it is very easy. The rules range from simple that a 5 year old can play to advanced with various rules those familiar with games like warhammer will enjoy. They also have rules for 3 and r players plus even a solo mode! Overall it was such a joy to build and smash the monsters. I can't recommend it enough.
