It took a while to receive my lamp. After sending an email, I did get a reply that it was on it's way with an apology for the delay. It arrived in good condition and I have been enjoying since then. It looks beautiful and I love that I can adjust the dimmer switch to allow for more or less light as needed. I would recommend it.

I purchased three salt foot domes: one was broken on the salt dome body and three bulbs were broken. I emailed the Himalayan customer service and quick response was received. I was asked to take at least seven photos of the broken body one for the purpose of the insurance requirement for reissuing a good one. After that, I received a wonderful new dome plus 4- 40 watt bulbs. Really appreciated the quick response and service! I definitely enjoyed using it and using it every day! Thank you!!

All the salt lamps I have purchased from Himalayan Trading have been wonderful. Everyone loves them. They produce such a soothing and calming light. I have had the detoxing lamp for just a week now. I love my Purrfect Cat lamp. She is so cute and well made, and the lighting is wonderful.
However, I believe the switch is broken, as I have to plug in the wall switch to turn it on. The dimmer works well once it is plugged in and light is on.
I will contact the customer service department to rectify the issue.
But as far as the quality of the lamp itself, I am very pleased!

Thanks for being here! I've had a pyramid shaped salt lamp that needed a new bulb for several years now, and has just been sitting on a shelf waiting. Ahhh! Bliss again! haHa! This pyramid salt lamp had been for sale, and in the window of my natural food store about 10 years ago. I bought it but the lamp part was getting corroded by being in that humid window (at times). I love salt lamps, I now own four. I am a little disappointed that the definition on the cats face is not as nice as I expected and the ears are flat on top where a cats ears should be pointed and perked up. The ears are also a very light color so I am hoping they will gain more color longer use. I sent a regular lamp to my sister in England and she is absolutely delighted with it.
