After discovering your SOHO store last year, I visited again this spring and had a great experience. Shopping there is akin to having a personal stylist. Cassie invited me to try on a few pieces I admired, and then encouraged me to put on the the dark navy GV wool jacket. The coat is a work of art - unique and yet incredibly functional. It is beautiful, comfortable and stylish. My only regret is that I live in a 4 season climate and will only be able to wear it 6 months out of a year.

Has it's own style, good material, easy to maintain (no need to really steam it since it's so baggy, it hides wrinkles well). I'm 5'6", 120lbs, 26in waist and it fits me well. A little baggy at the waist but that's just the style of the item.

Such a lovely coat! My poor bathroom lighting does not do justice to the actual subtle lustre of the fabric! Customer service was also super helpful when I asked about sizing. I ended up getting size S, but I think size M would have fit nicely as well. The classic black is fabulous.

Every time I walk into Joanne's store on Octavia and Union, I'm delighted by all of the quietly bold pieces, perfectly placed and spaced for your viewing pleasure. On my third visit, I gravitated towards this trench coat in the traditional camel color, but it wasn't me. Joanne then pointed out the same coat in a delicious green - not quite olive, or matcha, or any other recognizable shade. I fell in love.

It is such an interesting piece but very wearable and unique without being loud. It's also very soft and comfortable and forgiving in the mid section due to the draping. When I don't know what to wear but want to look pulled together and chic and effortless, this is the piece I would grab. I like that I can put it together with a simple top and just let the pants shine and be the hero piece without thinking too much.

As a person who has very thin waist but big lower body & hip, these pants helped accentuate my waist while hiding my bigger lower body with the loose fit.
It's also not too formal so looking forward to keep wearing this to work for a comfortable business casual look.
