I've used the old wooden artists mannequins in the past and reference photos, but Stickybones far exceed those by a mile! Short of having my own stunt men on call, but in a lot of ways Stickybones are my stunt crew! Stickybones really lives up to the hype! Excellent range of movement, super strong magnets, the works! Got the set of 2 for me and my brother, he's learning animation and I just draw, and they are absolutely perfect for it! One word of caution though, the joint between the toe and heel is REALLY hard to get into place. Its probably so stiff for poseability reasons, so it makes sense, just be warned for your poor hands! From the reviews, this model looked to be really useful for helping with the more extreme poses in my figure drawings, and it did not disappoint. This is indeed the most poseable model I have used to date, and I have tried out many over the years.
