I've used the old wooden artists mannequins in the past and reference photos, but Stickybones far exceed those by a mile! Short of having my own stunt men on call, but in a lot of ways Stickybones are my stunt crew! I do my own comic book and sci-fi/fantasy art with action scenes so the Stickybones are perfect for this type of art. It’s even more incredible than I thought it would be, and I had extremely high hopes. You can tell there was a lot of thought and care put into each part of stickybones. It’s so flexible, I was shocked how quickly you can discover new dynamic poses. My only complaint is that the thumb on my right hand has become loose and so it can’t hold a pose any longer. But honestly that seems like a fluke compared to high quality of the whole figure.

The only thing keeping me from getting more of these figures is the price. I am a doctorate level counselor working in semi-retirement for $36.06 per hour. Your discounts and special sales prices helped, but at the end of the day, I still have laid out nearly $300 for the product. I have been very impressed with the quality and initial durability of the product in play therapy.

Got these to quickly make storyboards for my short film projects and they really rock in that application. Need a coffee mug in their hand? No problem! A short piece of steel pipe does the trick. An iPhone? A piece of paper attached with some double-sided tape serves as a placeholder. Photoshop compositing against found images does the rest and a quick action converts a photo into a cartoonish board ready for use in no time at all. They are pretty hefty in price but honestly these are some of the most amazing figures I've ever purchased. They are sturdy, the joints are strong and flexible enough to do ANY pose that comes to mind. I'd say outside of the price it's a 9 out of 10.

Really love the product. Only this to watch out for is the fingers, easily lost. Really wish this wasn’t the case. I opened the package, put my fingers on and one popped off, can’t find the thumb. Other than that, awesome product and a bit pricey.

This is probably the most dynamic posing doll I've ever had. His range of motion is also incredible. Some of his fingers pop off a little easy, as well as his left leg, but it's not serious. I love him like a son. Thank you StickyBones for creating something near perfect.
