Our original pool lights were the old style with boring incandescent white bulbs. We've been wanting to upgrade to the direct replacement Jandy LED multicolor Watercolors for quite some time, but the quotes for replacement were very high. Finally, we found them online at Pool Depo for a "reasonable" cost. Switching the lights out was simple so not sure why Jandy discourages DIY. Anyway, Pool Depo took care of us and we will look to purchase other pool service parts from them in the future.

My existing iChlor I30 was leaking and tried to chalk the leak with no success. I searched the internet for a replacement unit and found some crazy prices. I ended up finding the best price and a discount at Pool Depo. The unit arrived in great shape and was very easy to install. I gave my new Pentair Intellichlor 40plus a 5 rating, primarily because its a plug and play replacement for the IC40 previously installed. My local pool company wanted close to $2000 for replacement. Ouch! However since installing our new IC40Plus, our water temps are below the threshold to trigger the chlorination process. so jury is still out while we wait for warmer pool water. I'm confident in Pentair reliability and can post again when we get nicer weather.
