Amigo rugs are tough. Easy closures. And the 0g is just what they need for a rain coat. We love how we can remove the neck to avoid over heating. The reflective stripes mean I can easily see my boys when I come home late for feeding.
The best thing is how they fit around the shoulders. Never have any rubbing.
To wash I just brush off the mud chunks in order to preserve the water proofing.

At first I wasn’t sure it would breathe enough. After a couple of days I noticed he wasn’t getting and flies on him but thought he might be too warm. I changed him into his cool rug and almost instantly he was being bothered by flies all around him. I changed him back into this one and the relief was instant. Definitely a good investment!

Love my Summer Series! My thin skinned TB gets cold quickly when he gets wet and it’s windy, this rug keeps him comfortable and happy! I love the fit of the body and the newer rugs have a great enforced neck but I wish it was just slightly longer, like the amigo neck rugs :)
The body fits perfectly and doesn’t move, it’s super lightweight and the mesh lining means I don’t need to keep a cotton on underneath! Love taking the neck off when it’s warmer and keeping it on for windy days.

My horses tail has always been a chore, as it is very thick and wavy, it always has dreadlocks and it takes forever to make it look presentable, but not anymore. I just wish I took the video of before I brushed he’s tail. Honestly, with this brush he’s tail is seriously no longer high maintenance. The queens brush seriously is the best and worth every cent. Brilliant, trust me, every tack box needs at least one.

These are the best rugs I have ever used. The fit, stability and durability are all excellent. The waterproof ability is disappointing however. They are advertised as being waterproof for 3 years, however my previous rug only attained 2 years, even after following all the care and washing instructions exactly. I had hoped to get the 3 years out of it, especially considering the price. Hopefully that was a one- off and this new one will stay waterproof for the advertised 3 years!
