I bought it for my son who hurt his back. He mostly stands at the kitchen counter when he's on his laptop. So this is perfect! Plus he can sit on a stool and doesnt have to bend over so much. He really likes it. Definitely a keeper!

Really nice radio. Lots of features. It takes a little time learning all the functions, but the manual is very thorough and relatively easy to understand. Written in good English, unlike some manuals which are written in foreign countries by writers who do not understand proper English grammar. As an Amateur (Ham) radio operator, this unit allows me to listen to the various bands when I am away from home and unable to access my main radios.

For years I have been dealing with analog outside thermometers being unreadable due to snow coverage, unlit at night, foggy faded plexiglass face covers, small markings etc. With the La Crosse wireless digital exterior/ interior thermometer all those problems are a thing of the past plus I now have additional data for relative humidity both inside & outside which is a big plus in a cold climate such as Vermont where I heat with wood and spend a lot of time out of doors year round.

After considerable research I found that Radio Shack had the lowest price listed for the 2-band radio I wanted. Delivery came quickly. The radio works well and is so portable I can carry it anywhere. Love the big 4 inch dynamic speaker and the proprietary AFC feature useful for navigating both bands and selecting the exact channel setting desired. My experience wit The Shack was totally positive. Plugged it into the Supersonic radio (purchased with the headphones) & the sound was surprisingly good however only 1 side of the headphones adjusts again that should not be as both sides should adjust. That needs to be corrected Otherwise the headphones are highly recommended.

I like the lamp. Was a little frustrated when it was sent all over the country before it came to me. But I do like it. I'm a little confused because the ad says buy one and get one free and I received one lamp. I don't need the second one, but if it is available, I would like one. I like the size and the light it gives off - it isn't annoyingly bright.

Inexpensive good battery tester that stays with our batteries in their drawer. Questionable batteries are quickly checked, tossed if bad and new ones grabbed while you’re there. Saves time and money in a household where kids and teens replace batteries and have been known to leave the old batteries lying next to the game controllers, usually next to the good spares.

It is a great simple product. Testing AA, AAA, C, D and 9-volt batteries is simple. Had no problems laying the batteries in the track and then closing the tester. Button batteries are iffy to test. Had problems keeping them centered. But I primarily bought it for testing the other batteries. Just bought two more for my kids.

Installed the new 'C' cell carbon batteries I purchased on Amazon and turned it on. Am radio in this area is very limited but I was still able to pick up a couple stations. I use this product everyday however I’ve had to buy about 15 over time because the speakers are not mounted properly and will become disconnected over time. I also have had problems with the lock switch getting stuck either off or on. But I still love the convenience of its programmability and how it fits my work habits. Love no cord too.
